- Arenal Volcano National Park - Experience Arenal´s only wild frog sanctuary at night, when colorful tree frogs and other rainforest wildlife are most active and most easily observed. At least 28 frog species have made their home the ponds of Arenal Oasis.
The Rojas Bonilla family carefully maintains native plants of Arenal, to create needed frog habitat in this private wildlife reserve of fresh spring water fed ponds; within a rainforest refuge connecting the rainforests of the Arenal Volcano and el Rio Burio. The night tour continues past the frog ponds along flat trails immersed in the noisy night rainforest.
The guide will point out animals hiding from you.Support, enjoy and learn about the only wild frog sanctuary in the Arenal Volcano Area. Tours led by trained naturalist along flat rainforest trails start at 5:00pm at your hotel.

Lots to see - They provided flashlights. We saw a bunch of animals including giant insects, frogs, crabs, and more.

You don’t want to miss this experience - Most memorable of all yours we did while in La Fortuna. Edson our guide was so knowledgeable and we saw many amazing frogs and snakes. Would highly recommend

Very Cool! - It was so cool! Our tour guide David was knowledgeable and passionate. We saw snakes, frogs, a sleeping tucan, and other cool critters. There are multiple tours going at once so the different guides give each other a heads up of where cool things were so we could go see them too. But the tours are small and spread out so you have a lot of privacy and time to see things.

Awesome tour - Super staff and great night walk. Our tour agent (Charlie the Traveler) and his concierge (Travelux) told us the incorrect time to meet the tour bus. So, Arsenal oasis sent a separate vehicle to pick us up. The tour guide went out of his way to tell us about the things that we had missed for being late.

Amazing Night Tour with some Great Photography - Highly Recommended - The night tour with Guide Juan was amazing. Pick from location was on time and Juan has an amazing knowledge of the wildlife in the area and his ability to spot them in the wild, at night when they are so well camouflaged was amazing. It was about 1 hour of walking in the forest at night but time just flew by as we spotted frogs, insects, snakes, spiders, birds various plants etc ... Defiantly recommend doing a night tour with Juan.

Fantastic Night Tour With Vitor - Fantastic night tour with Vitor. He was really knowledgeable and engaging, spotting excellent wildlife and also educating us along the way. We saw all sorts of animals, from frogs, snakes to lizards. Would really recommend this tour to groups of all ages and sizes. Vitor even offered to take photos of the creatures for us. Cannot recommend this enough.

A night walk in the rainforest Costa Rica - Great trip! Wear your rain gear and bring your phone to take photos. Guides are great at finding all kinds of insects and reptiles. Safe, easy to walk, they give you great flashlights

Lovely night walk! - Very interesting night walk. We saw lots of frogs and a few snakes. I enjoyed walking in the rain & looking for wildlife. The transportation was prompt and courteous. Meeting a few people from other countries also added to the charm

Guide was not very attentive and did not seem interested - We were looking forward to our night but very dissatisfied with our guide Brian - he did not seem as attentive as other guides we saw on the route who seemed to be finding loads of frogs snakes etc , he did not really speak English that well so was hard to understand - we saw other groups getting stuck in to
Look for all sorts of creatures but our little group of 4 was not like that - very disappointing
