LIGHTS, COLOUR AND PARTY AT TENERIFE CARNIVALS - What can be said about this great show, leaves no one indifferent, day and night, and especially at night, the city of Santa Cruz, is a festival of colors, lights and music. Here the whole city dresses up, and the parades are an amazing color. If you love carnivals, you can't miss it.

Fantastic experience with wife and child. - What a great atmosphere, dancing, smiles, joy, colors, music, street food! Pure folklore. The dance groups, all rigorously dressed in colorful outfits, dance to the rhythm of drums alternating and crossing streets in downtown S. Cruz. If you happen in the right period it is a must!

Santa Cruz Carnival Parade - We attended the colorful Mardi Gras parade on February 13, lasting three hours starting and passing on the street near Playa Espana it was a very beautiful experience there is also a night parade which has a different route Friday night. We got there from the tram which leaves from La Laguna allowing us to park in a large parking lot with plenty of space in Padre Anchieta..15 euros for the day and 1.20 euros for the 30 minute journey that brings us at the Teatro guimerá stopAfterwards a short walk in the heart of Santa Cruz to get to the parade route..arrival 45 minutes before the start we were in the second row standing but there were chairs to sit along of the route but we had to arrive earlier
