Very much a hidden gem. Keep it to yourself!! - Valletta is such a draw, & is wonderful. The 3 cities - across the Grand Harbour by boat - are a hidden gem. This small group walking tour with Chris, introduced us to this spectacular, historic, & overlooked area, so close to Valletta, & yet with a longer history than Valletta. Let Chris show you around, and take you back in time to bring the stories to life. You will also find a much quieter place (for now!), & yet just a beautiful one. We also did Chris’s Mdina & Rabat Insider’s Tour & thoroughly recommend that tour too.

Great tour - We did Chris’ 3 cities tour in the morning and enjoyed it so much we decided to book on to his Valletta tour in the afternoon. Chris was kind enough to offer us a lift to Valletta when he saw us at the bus stop. Chris is very knowledgeable and a great storyteller, both tours were very interesting and he took the time to get to know everyone. The pace was comfortable so no one was left behind and he’d always ensure to point out good spots for pictures and step aside as to not photobomb them. This was a great way to see Valletta if you have a short amount of time and don’t know where to go, and the stories were entertaining as well! Thank you Chris for a brilliant day!

A fascinating tour, with so many surprising details bringing history alive. - Chris gave the group of 10 interesting people - from very different parts of the world - an outstandingly good account of the three cities area. Covering the historical background ranging from knights of St John to the central rôle of Malta in 20th century wartime - plus social issues affecting the area right up to modern times, the tour was wide-ranging but totally well-planned, and never off-subject. All this was given with wit and fun a notable ingredient in the mix - essential in an excellent guide with the clearest and strongest of voices which, as a hearing-challenged visitor, my husband was very grateful for! Thank you so much to Christian for this tour, already a high point in our stay in Malta.

Worth taking the tour with Chris - After going to Fort St Angelo on a different day I was a bit hesitant to take a tour of the 3 cities figuring that it would really not be that interesting. We actually had a wonderful and interesting tour with Chris. Chris was very personable and informative and the areas that we walked through were very charming. Glad my wife talked me into it. He also recommended a good restaurant to walt to for lunch.

Informative and interesting tour of the 3 Cities. - Very informative tour with Christian (Chris). The group size was ideal (6) and Chris was very knowledgeable about the area and Malta more generally. The tour was well paced after an informative introduction at the meeting point. I liked that he took time to speak to everyone individually at the start as well as we were walking round. He also had lots of unusual and interesting facts about the places we saw. I was booked on another of his tours the following day in Mdina and he was extremely helpful in telling me which buses to get there when I asked. Would highly recommend this tour.

Lovely Walking Tour of the Three Cities - The walking tour was extremely informative and very enjoyable. Learnt so much from Chris about the history of Malta and he took us to see and hear about places we would never have found on our own. It was a small group which was great and the walking was at a gentle pace and not too taxing if like me you are not as fit as you would like to be! We were recommended to book this tour with Chris of Best Tours Malta by our travel agent who had taken the tour himself and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone interested in the history of Malta. We had booked another tour with Chris around Mdina and Rabat but very disappointingly we had to cancel as my husband was ill as I am sure this too would have been very enjoyable
