A weekend of beauty, energy, and joy - And suddenly, there it was. The sun setting to my left, the golden small hill to my right with cute and curious cows walking about and grazing peacefully. The wind rustling the leaves of the trees behind me. There it was, and that was all that was. In this life, I am still unsure about the right questions to ask. But I am sure that that moment, that time of beauty, is at least one of the answers. In a place where others could have just seen a farm, Jey, a man of vision, and his partner Zoe, saw a Surf and Yoga retreat. Where others just saw an empty field, they saw a beautiful pond. And they dug it out themselves with their bare hands, carving their dream one shovelful at a time. Victor was our host. A man-boy who carries the immaculate purity of the free spirits. A man it would pain to see caged in an office job in a big city. A soul of movement, balance, and honesty. The community of instructors - a small community in a small town. Kindling the fire of the surf spirit and keeping it alive. The friends of the instructors, who flocked over once the day was done, like little birds coming to check out what is new in the garden. I could speak of facilities, price, and comfort, but that is not what I’ll remember from this trip. I live of impressions, stories, and memories, and these are the ones I’ll bring with me. Perhaps, so should you?

Best stag weekend ever! 🤘 - I wish I could give these a billion stars. Best stag weekend ever! The wild camping site was awesome. We missed out on the giant SUPing due to weather, however we got extra time for the coasteering and it was a blast! Every member of staff was tip top from the start of the booking process, Zoe was great, answered any questions I had especially considering trying to organise a stag do of 14 people can be a stressful thing. Willow was our host, he was available at the campsite and was our instructor for the coasteering along with Lucy, they both did a great job of making us feel safe and having fun during the coasteering, even some of the lads with fear of heights jumped the big ones, with the encouragement and guidance. Wetsuit and gear hire was straight forward. You will have to arrange travel between the campsite and the activity centre but this is easily enough done, we had a minibus collect and drop us off with no issues. From the drop off/car parking point at the farm/campsite, it's a bit of a trudge through fields (especially if it's been raining) so recommend wellies or old trainers. It was great! axe throwing, fire pit and BBQ on site. Heated showers and long drop loos too. Can't fault it. Everyone had a sick time! Can't recommend Cornish Wave enough

Awesome adventure weekend - I did the group Adventure Weekend as a solo person, and had the best time! There were lots of people also on their own or in pairs, so it was a great opportunity to make friends and this was really encouraged by sharing tents and having food together! Wild camping was really fun, with games, good factilities, a lake to swim/ walk around, and a fire pit with shelter. The coasteering was so fun, Willow was really supportive as none of us had done anything like it before. Surfing was great, again Willow and Victor were super patient and really coached us through the sessions so we could get the most out of them! I loved the activities, and would definitley do both again. Thanks to Cornish Wave for an awesome experience :)

What a weekend! - Amazing weekend! I went with one friend, we quickly made friends with the rest of the group (mixture of solo and group travellers), our hosts/instructors (Willow, Vyctor and Aimee) were so lovely and were fantastic surf instructors - most of us could even stand up by the end of the second day of surfing. Coasteering was really fun, our instructor was so encouraging and properly challenged us. The campsite is gorgeous, quality bell tents and air mattresses were provided.

Excellent all round - Had a wonderful weekend in Cornwall with Cornish Wave experiencing the glamping, SUPing and Coasteering with Victor, Jake and Lucy. Everyone was super helpful and friendly and made sure we had a great time. I would highly recommend and when I am back in the area I’d be super to do something with the company again.

Wild Camping - A big thanks to Matt, Adam and Bear you were amazing hosts to have. Friendly, patient and lots of fun. I have never done surfing before but over the weekend I have learnt how to surf. I also did the wild camping which I found to be great fun with lots to do e.g. a swim in the lake, jenga, axe throwing and fetch with bear. On the first night we had pizza round the fire and a bbq on the second night. Both nights are great and you will never get bored. In the evening sitting round the fire telling joke and chatting whilst making smore’s and creating mess can’t be a better thing to do with your evening. Thank you for an awesome weekend

Would recommend to anyone. - The whole experience was great from the start, with camping facilities being charming and really well put together, you immediately felt at home and didnt dread going to sleep like in some 'glamping' breaks. Most of all, i loved the work of Adam and James to allow everyone to feel like they could figure things out at their own speed. The coasteering was heavily guided and you felt safe throughout wheras the surfing felt a lot more like an adventure. Sometimes people are very patronising, but not here. The instruction was great and youre allowed to take it at your own pace, always being checked in on if youre struggling, but if things are going well they let you get on and just surf! Most of all, as we got into the end of the sunday session i was exhausted and was happily allowed to tap out and take it easy on the beach while the session continued. My partner and I are very keen to get back and do more surfing with the team soon.

The perfect intro Newquay! - What a great weekend! I travelled solo and found it a great way to meet some new like minded people. Victor was a fantastic surf instructor who gave me some decent pointers to improve on the board. And coasteering was great fun - think rock climbing meets cliff jumping. We even got to swim with a seal 😂 Thanks for a great experience. I would definitely go back!
