You must be able to swim confidently 25 metres in open water to take part in this activity.
Challenge yourself to daring deep water jumps, traverse along the water’s edge, (easy) rock climbing, and explore whirlpools, gullies and caves as you experience the beautiful coastline up close by wild swimming.

Prepare to swim numerous 25 metre segments as you unearth smugglers hideouts, delve into the region’s local past and wild swim across our enchanting coastline, all under the guidance and support of our trained and certified Coasteering leaders.
Coasteering in Newquay is an exhilarating adventure activity open to everyone. You’re not obligated to participate in anything you’re uncomfortable with!

A must do for those looking for adventure in Cornwall. - Booked a coasteering experience for myself and my partner with Jey from Cornish Wave. From start to finish really enjoyable, we were lucky that as it was the start of the season it was just the two of us with it being quieter. Jey guided us really well, letting us go at our own pace but encouraging us to do some of the bigger cliff jumps too! Despite being early in the season, we had great weather and water wasn’t too cold! Equipment was all provided and seemed really good quality, kept us warm! We’d never been coasteering before so didn’t know what to expect but would definitely recommend it! Thanks so much for the experience!

Family coasteering trip - Great family trip coasteering. Two kids aged 8 and 10 loved it. Our instructor Jake was great with all the kids, friendly but got all the key messages across about where to go what to do etc. weather was cold but the gear they gave us was really good and kept us warm. Would definitely recommend it.

Coasteering while I still can. - Excellent guide,fantastic afternoon. Really got the blood pumping, thoroughly enjoyed, I would definitely recommend, a good 2 or 3 hours of exhilarating experience.

Great experience and communication - It was an amazing experience for the children, they had a great time coasteering. They are age 16,13 and 13. The team were fab, great communication, really well organised and my son said his instructor was really kind! Thank you

Amazing Adventure and Great Instruction - Being for a week in Cornwall, this was our absolute highlight during the stay. We know climbing and moutaineering and also have some experience in canyoning, but climbing, swimming and above all safely jumping from spots we would never have considered to do so without the great instructions from Matt and the entire team was a complete new and exciting experience. Coaststeering is definitely a much different and fantastic way to experience the fantastic coastline of Cornwall. Thanks so much for this great opportunity. We will definitely coasteer again!

Great Morning Coasteering! - Second time doing this activity. Loads of fun and a great experience. There were 5 of us ranging in ages from 13 to 40 plus and it was suitable for all. The guides were really great - helpful and made the morning run really smoothly. Would recommend this for anyone visiting Newquay who wants to try something a bit different.
