- Paddywagon Day Tours - Check in at 7.30am with our friendly Paddywagon Staff at our Tourist Office located on Bridge Street. Ready for a 7.45am departure. We depart Cork and enjoy a scenic drive across the beautiful golden vale of Cork, to historic Limerick city. This city is the setting for blockbuster novel and movie Angela’s Ashes, and is also the home of the Munster rugby team.
- King John’s Castle - We will view and learn about King John’s Castle and the River Shannon. We continue via County Clare to the west coast of Ireland.
- Cliffs of Moher - We spend 1.5 hours at the Cliffs of Moher - one of the world’s greatest natural attractions. These cliffs stand 1/3 the size of the Empire State Building and have large populations of puffins and gannets. You can enjoy a hike or a relaxed walk, while gazing in amazement at this geological and natural beauty. The Cliffs of Moher also have shops and restaurants, anything from snacks and souvenirs available in plenty. Visitor charges at the Cliffs are included in the tour price saving you EUR 10.00. You will also receive a complimentary ticket to the award winning Atlantic Edge exhibition that examines all aspects of the mighty Cliffs of Moher.
- Doolin - We depart from the Cliffs of Moher for a stop in Doolin or Liscannor, tiny west of Ireland villages where you may wish to enjoy a delicious local lunch (optional), maybe a seafood chowder or lamb stew with a local craft beer (optional). There are options to suit all diets and tastes, including vegan. On the way we will have superb views of the Atlantic coast and the Aran Islands.
- Wild Atlantic Way - This afternoon we’ll round off the day by taking a spectacular drive along the coast as far as Black Head and romantic Galway Bay. This wonderful area is known as the Burren, a lunar landscape dating back 300 million years. Sit back, take in the scenery and imagine how the locals lived on this incredible land over the centuries.
- Bunratty Castle and Folk Park - We stop at Bunratty Castle, for a photo stop and a chance to grab a coffee and refresh yourself. You can easily imagine Norman knights, Gaelic warriors, and jousting chieftains at this hallowed spot.
- Paddywagon Tours Cork - We return to Cork after a fun filled day.

Best Tour and Guide - We had the most amazing day today on this tour and it was all about our guide KEVIN! He was a wealth of information and had an excellent sense of humor. So knowledgeable about all the places we saw! The amount of information was perfect. He also gave us great tips on things to do and see in Cork and Cobh for the rest of our trip. Thanks Kevin…you rocked it today! 🍀🇮🇪

Up to the Cliffs! - The cliffs are one of the most beautiful sights you will ever see. This is my second visit to the cliffs. I brought my daughter this time and she was so amazed. Ridding the Wild Atlantic Way has such amazing views. A must do tour.

Two trips with Paddywagon! - I could not recommend Paddywagon Tours more. I’ve been on two tours with them (drivers Paul and Brian). Both were great. The bus drivers are knowledgeable and entertaining. You’ll get great photos. My only criticism is that they take you to restaurants that are very touristy depending on the tour. Everything else is great.

Be prepared for wild weather and wonderful surprises - Kevin was a good tour guide who was very passionate about the history and culture of Ireland. If it wasn't for the good weather when we got to the Cliffs, it may have been pretty sad. We were so lucky to see the Cliffs of Moher and the scenic route along the way. Be prepared for lots of rain and wind. Our kids managed the wild wind at the Cliffs, and Kevin's story telling was great and kept the kids entertained.
We enjoyed learning about the history of Cork, and Ireland in general, and one of us in our group learnt so much about his lineage and where his grandmother came from. It was very emotional.

Windy wet adventure but a beautiful sight bring cash - The ease of the tour and the information shared along the way was great. The lunch stop was lovely but it would have been nice to know beforehand to bring cash. Our driver was a bit grumpy which we’ve never experienced on a tour before but appreciated what he shared with us. Definitely suggest a hat and gloves if going in April and a rain jacket. Leave the umbrella at home because it’s too windy for it.

Good, could be better - It went really well and there was the perfect amount of time at the cliffs. The lunch spot was not my favorite and takes up a lot of your time. They also didn’t spend nearly enough time at the second castle. But good bang for buck.

A lovely but rushed tour - You see quite a bit of Ireland and the cliffs are spectacular yet you don't get a lot of time in each place. The tour stops in Limerick to pick drop off people going to Dingle I suggest to improve the tour to give people not going to Dingle to have 35-45 mins to look at Limerick, the Bunratty castle stop was so short we couldn't even get a ice-cream.

Not good - This tour is long and dragged out, with not enough interesting stops, with the exception of the Cliffs of Mohar. The time spent there was just right. After that, we went on a 2 hour, very boring bus ride to see some moonscape scenery called the Burren, which was a waste of time. Then, our last stop at Bunratty castle, which looked very interesting, was so short we didn’t get to see much of it at all. Our driver Brian, was grumpy and unfriendly, smoked right at the entrance to the bus, and played the radio station for much of trip. . The bus also had an annoying squeak throughout our trip. Definitely not up to the standards of other bus trips we have taken in both Ireland and Scotland , and after two bus trips with this company, we would definitely not recommend them.
