Great day out! - We had a fantastic day out with Nausica ! We learnt a lot about the history and culture of Corfu and had some excellent and varied food stops. Brunch was superb with a selection of pastries and coffee, followed by a lovely deli, olive oil tasting, kumquat and limoncello licquer tasting culminating in a very nice traditional Greek lunch ! Would highly recommend this trip !!

Awesome combo of food, culture and history! - We had the most wonderful time with Atiri! She was so sweet and engaging and full of interesting information about Corfu. It was so fun to learn about history as well as the current culture in Corfu! The food was all delicious and it was very special to be able to visit the ā€œlocalā€ family owned restaurants. Highly recommend this tour!

Great fun (and food) in the sun. - Alice, our tour guide, made this probably the best walking tour experience we have ever had. She brought fun, dancing, and lots of games to our experience. We loved it. Thank you, Alice.

100/10 - absolutely brilliant, thank you Alice!! - Alice was absolutely brilliant, totally engaging from start to finish and showed a real cultural knowledge not only for Corfu and Greece as a whole but also for the people, shops, eateries and bars around Corfu. She managed to find out about my partners birthday (the day of the tour!) and managed to get a cake for the last stop, which was really thoughtful and put the cherry on the cake for us. The stops were all brilliant, massive array of local foods and drinks with fantastic shop owners too. The whole experience was a real credit to Corfu. Would 110% recommend this to anyone who wants to scratch below the surface of Corfu culture (particularly food culture!).

The BEST TOUR EVER and hands down the VERY BEST FOOD TOUR EVER too! - An Absolutely Incredible Tour! Nausica was an incredible ambassador for the city. She took us on a whirlwind of delectable delights. Easily THE BEST TOUR we have ever been on and we have been on a number! She showed us to six different local stores and their offerings were all generous, incredibly tasty and made locally. The shopkeepers were thrilled to have us visit and at every stop we wanted to buy items to take with us. We are lucky to be here for a few more days and have already gone back to a couple of the places and expect to do so for lunch today! All of us loved our time with Nausica and hope to see her again one day :-)

Great food and a great day in Corfu - During our walking gastronomy tour we spent four hours strolling much of old town Corfu taking in the sights and sounds and smells (good smells) of the town. Lots of walking and lots of food. Corfu has an industry built on Cumquats. Not my thing. We tasted cumquats, cumquat candy, cumquat jam, cumquat liquor, cumquat cream liquor and none of it appealed to me. To me, it was very bitter much like the zest from other citrus fruits. My wife was ok with some of the cumquat saying it reminded her of apricot. Pastries were all wonderful with the different phyllo styles. Lunch was veal and rooster (yes rooster) which tasted like chickens believe it or not. Pasta red sauce has a lot more herbs than what we do in the States so a completely different flavor profile. We went to the Jewish part of Corfu and bought some saffron from a spice market that is international known. We learned that any tour guide must be approved by the ministry of something and have at least a masters degree in something Greek to conduct tours (hopefully I got that right) They are very proud of their heritage and donā€™t want any bad actors representing their culture. We had a great day. Our guide Alice was full of energy and was an absolute charm to spend the day with. Thank you so much Alice for taking such good care of us.

Exceptional tour! - Ariti was an excellent guide! Extremely friendly, very knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about Corfu. We learned a ton about the history and customs of Corfu, in particular how they relate to the rest of Greece. All of the food stops were local family-run businesses, not chains or touristy places. There was a good mix of savoury, sweet, and meal-like dishes, and we were glad we skipped breakfast beforehand. We went back to some of the same cafes and shops on the tour multiple times during our stay. Ariti also gave us some tips for good restaurants where locals eat, and we tried Abakas, and it was the best Moussaka we had in our entire trip. Highly recommended!
