Upon arrival at the San Jose airport, you will be met by one of our representatives how will explain your itinerary, answer any questions and provide you with a package of vouchers and information about your trip. CORCOVADO NATIONAL PARK
Corcovado National Park - Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the airport for take a domestic flight to Drake Bay or Palmar Sur. Upon arrival, a Casa Corcovado representative will meet you and provide the transfer service to the hotel. Casa Corcovado is a prime location on the edge of Corcovado National Park, luxury first-class service and food, exciting activities. Spanish colonial-style Bungalows are spread around a garden for maximum privacy, this unique lodge offers accommodations constructed with the highest concern for conservation in harmony with the landscape and the environment, this is our commitment to responsible tourism. CORCOVADO NATIONAL PARK TOUR
Corcovado National Park - For a full day in the thick of the rainforest, Corcovado National Park is unparalleled for breathtaking beauty, abundant wildlife and foliage nearly pulsing with lushness. After breakfast, you’ll board a boat for a 25-minute ride to the San Pedrillo Station, the northernmost ranger station of Corcovado National Park.
An hour’s walk along the beach, led by a local naturalist guide, brings you to a forest trail up the Rio Pargo. Enormous primary growth trees dripping with epiphytic plants, such as orchids, bromeliads and ferns are numerous in this area. The quiet of the jungle is occasionally broken with the guttural bark of howler monkeys, the shrieks of scarlet macaws and the rustle of agoutis in the bush. Sloths make their slow way among branches overhead. The rainforest canopy creates a cool environment for hiking well-groomed trails.
A midday we’ll have lunch under the shade of a mango tree on Llorona beach.The next leg of the adventure is a walk up the San Pedrillo River.
CANO ISLAND PARK TOUR
Cano Island - A day trip to Caño Island will prove to be an unforgettable experience to divers, snorkelers, hikers, and nature lovers alike. The island is around 8 miles off the coast of the Osa Peninsula.
Also, most likely you will have the opportunity to see schools of dolphin swimming around the boat, and whales cruise these waters and are often sighted during their migration season. Caño Island rises like a giant emerald from the sea. Soaring coastal cliffs, white-sand beaches and a densely forested interior make this island one of the most dramatic landmasses in the area.
The diving and snorkeling crowd will be treated to an underwater playground of caves, cliffs and canyons at seven separate dive sites.
Snorkelers will enjoy schools of colorful tropical fish closer to shore. Cano Island is surrounded by five platforms of low reefs where over a dozen species of coral grow abundantly.
TRANSFER CORCOVADO – SAN JOSE - ARENAL
Arenal Volcano National Park - Breakfast at the lodge. Transfer to the local airport for a domestic flight to San Jose. Upon arrival, a Greenway Tours representative will meet you and provide a land transfer to Fortuna Town and Arenal Volcano. Check in at Hotel Magic Mountain or similar and free time at leisure.
