The Copper Lamp workshop provides participants with the necessary tools, materials, and inspiration to create a functional lamp, complete with a stylish Edison bulb to brighten up any space. If you want your guests to know that you crafted this lamp yourself, you’ll need to find a natural way to mention it, as it won’t be immediately obvious.

Many members of the Craftsman Ave community view the Copper Lamp workshop as the “gateway” to the maker lifestyle. Be prepared: you might catch the maker bug, and the only remedy is attending more workshops!

In this workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to work with gleaming copper pipes, shaping them into your desired design (a skill that will benefit those who enjoyed building sets as children). You’ll also harness the power of fire to solder the copper joints of your masterpiece.

This is a “beginner” level workshop, so no prior experience with copper pipe fitting or soldering is necessary, but your creative design possibilities are endless!
