Highlights
- Jagtvej 69 - We start at the former site of “Ungdomshuset”, a hotspot for alternative culture in Copenhagen. After discussing it’s history and Street Art, we will walk to the nearby café Mokkariet where guests will get to enjoy a delicious sourdough bun with a popular Danish cheese. As we eat, we’ll discuss the nature of the Nørrebro neighborhood and its Street Art scene, as well as the local food offerings.
- Mokkariet - A local café where we will try their sourdough buns with a Danish Cheese. Vegans are offered a raw bite bun or cake. After we finish here, we will walk around the local area known as Mimersgade-Kvarteret, a place where the street names are inspired by Norse mythology. We’ll visit BaNanna Park with its numerous Street Art pieces, and afterwards we’ll head to Superkilen Park, an urban park where you’ll get to see a very creative use of Street Art in creating an exciting urban space.
- Superkilen Park - A famous Copenhagen landmark, this urban park was designed by the world-renowned architects from BIG. After we finish admiring the local Street Art and taking in the atmosphere, we’ll visit Kösem, a local eatery that has won the Nørrebro shawarma championship for its delicious food. This stop also includes a soft drink as well. After eating at Kösem, we’ll visit the final food stop, Hart Bakery- founded by a former NOMA chef. The last food sample is a delicious piece of Danish pastry. From the bakery, we will then move down trendy Jægersborggade back towards the tour meeting point, where the tour will also end.

On this walking tour of Copenhagen’s famous Nørrebro neighborhood, join us as we showcase both the vibrant street art scene, and some of the local food spots.
There are three food stops on the tour that will help you appreciate the nature of Nørrebro’s excellent food scene;
Mokkariet: A cozy café where you will try a delicious sourdough bun with a popular Danish cheese and jam.
Kösem: A local eatery that has won the Nørrebro shawarma championship, where you’ll get to try their award-winning shawarma or falafel, along with a soft drink of your choice.
Hart Bakery: A branch of the popular Hart Bakery, started by a former NOMA chef, where you’ll get to try some delicious Danish pastry.
In between the stops, we’ll show you some vibrant pieces of street-art by both Danish and international artists.
Once the tour is over, you’ll have a better understanding of why Nørrebro is such a popular part of Copenhagen, and a better appreciation for its street art scene.
- Each food stop on the tour lasts approximately 20-30 mins. The remaining tour time is spent walking around the Nørrebro neighborhood and admiring its beautiful street-art.

Insights into Danish culture - An insightful look into a different aspect of Copenhagen! Super friendly guide that made the trip much more unique. Loved the kebab and the BMO. (BMO = Bun with cheese - a Danish classic). I particularly enjoyed hearing about the cultural history of "Ungdomshuset" (= House of Youth).

Something new and exciting - Very interesting tour with a good combination of street art and food. We saw some really nice facade paintings together with interesting stories about places and artists. A very different and enlightening tour, which is definitely worth the time, if you want to experience a side of Copenhagen, that you haven't seen before.

Great street art tour! - Amazing street art tour right in the center of the urban part of Copenhagen. Beautiful street art, and loads of interesting information about the meaning behind the art. Additionally, the food served is sufficient as an entire meal, and at the same time delicious! Overall, i would highly recommend for anyone interested in exploring the more urban side of Copenhagen.

Get a visual knock-out in Nørrebro., Copenhagen. - Formidable experience, very competent guide, and a lot of extraordinaire impressions I haven't seen before, even though I used to live in that area. Highly recommendable, if one wants to get behind "the scene" in one of the most inpiring parts of Copenhagen.
