Highlights
- Roskilde Domkirke - See the largest cathedral in Denmark, which is also the cathedral in Northern Europe where the larges number of royals are burried.
In the months November to March - It will solely be a photostop outside the Roskilde Cathedral
- Viking Ship Museum - Explore the stories of the vikings and early Danish history.
- Frederiksborg Castle - You will get time to explore Frederiksborg Castle on your own. Tickets are included. The 2h and 15 minutes are including a lunch stop. You decide how much time you wish spending seeing the castle, and how much time you wish to spend with the lunch.
- Kronborg Slot - Explore Hamlet´s Castle, Kronborg. You will be provided with its place in Danish history and get the story of the castle´s role in Shakespeare´s Hamlet

- The tour is unfortunately NOT suited for people with mobility problems. There is a lot of walking and steep stairs

The starting point is a parking area for tour busses by the back of Tivoli Gardens right across the street from Copenhagen City Hall (Rådhuset).

A fantastic way to see greater Copenhagen! - This tour was the exact itinerary we wanted to see the castles and sites just outside Copenhagen. Chris was a delightfully humorous guide who gave us a personalized experience, provided us with meaningful context and history about each site, and periodically checked on us to ensure we getting just what we wanted from the tour. Do not hesitate on this tour -- it's worth it!

Fantastic day out! - I booked a day tour for the day if my trip to reach further out places of interest that I wouldn't have been able to reach otherwise. Sillas was a fantastic host, experienced tour guide with added humour that made the day enjoyable. I was really impressed with being able to see Roskilde Cathedral, the Viking Ship Museum, Frederiksborg Castle and Kronborg Castle in one day, with a few added details. Lunch at Valentin was lovely and great value for money. My only downfall was the discomfor on the mini bus - lovely as it is - the seatbelt dug into me all day as it was static, not flexible with material and the seat was smaller than me. So the travelling in between on a solo seat is uncomfortable if you're not petite... but other than that, this is a fantastic day that I would probably do again and also loved to be able to point at Sweden from Kronborg!

Silas was an exceptional... - Silas was an exceptional guide. Funny, knowledgeable and lovely.
We had a fantastic day and loved all of the sights.
We highly recommend this trip.
We loved all of it and the narrow winner for the best part of all was the Viking Museum.
Please go if this is on your radar.

Lovely day trip from Copenhagen - The driver was friendly and helpful. He took us through the Kronborg castle and Roskilde Cathedral. The other places were on our own. I was pleasantly surprised that we got inside the Cathedral as it was listed as being closed during the off season. The van had plenty of leg room

Grand Tour of Copenhagen - Roskilde Cathedral and the the Viking museum are a must for any amateur or professional historians. I preferred them to the Frederiksborg and Kronburg castles. I would have liked more time in the former and there's some pictures that are only in Danish so English titles would help too. The Chapel and Great hall are both unbelievable!! Pictures don't do wither of them justice. In Kronburg, it's not all open to the public but what is is fantastic too with what we saw. Chris was our guide, driver and part time jester and I loved his knowledge and humour.

See and learn more on this historical tour - It was a great your. Plenty of good information, a good driver and guide who made it fun. Each stop was different and interesting. At the end the weather was not good, raining and cold but we warmed up and dried off in the bus. Good group of people. Would highly recommend if you want to see more than just Copenhagen.
