- Segway Cruise Copenhagen - Please arrive 15 minutes before the tour begins for check-in and training. During this time, you will sign a waiver of liability, receive your helmet, radio (for live commentary), and meet your guide. You will be given personalized instructions on riding a Segway in our quiet and spacious training area, where you can practice until you feel comfortable. Don’t worry if you’re new to it - it’s simple, and most guests master it in minutes.
- The Little Mermaid - The tour starts along the waterfront in a car-free zone, providing a perfect opportunity to get comfortable with the Segway. Along this route, you’ll see some of Copenhagen’s most iconic sights, including The Little Mermaid (with a photo stop), The Royal Opera House, The Royal Playhouse, Holmen, and more. Your guide will share fascinating stories about Copenhagen through the headset radio system, allowing for more Segway cruising and fewer stops!
- Royal Danish Theatre Play House - At the Royal Playhouse, a unique glass building almost floating on the water, we will soak in the atmosphere at Ofelia Place.
- Copenhagen Opera House - After passing the beautiful monuments across the water at Holmen, we’ll stop for photos with the stunning Opera House in the background at its waterfront location. Your guide will also share the intriguing story and impressive cost behind this landmark.
- Nyhavn - Upon reaching the colorful Nyhavn, we’ll share the story of Copenhagen’s most photographed spot and show you the residence of our beloved fairy tale author HC Andersen, as well as the home of a notable Dane. After Nyhavn, we’ll head towards the inner city. A photo stop at Nyhavn is, of course, a must :)
- Royal Danish Theater (Kongelige Teater) - We’ll take a short break halfway through at the cafe in the Royal Danish Theatre on Kongens Nytorv. Here, you can stretch your legs and enjoy a refreshing beverage or a traditional Danish pastry if you wish. We offer special deals exclusively for our Segway cruisers, but no purchase is necessary. The cafe is operated by the Meyer Group, co-founder of the renowned Restaurant Noma, emphasizing organic and local produce.
- Det Kgl. Bibliotek - We’ll now head towards the inner city, where you’ll truly get to know Copenhagen. Highlights include The Black Diamond, The Royal Stock Exchange, a hidden garden, and much more!
- Christiansborg Slot - Christiansborg Palace (Parliament) is a magnificent highlight in central Copenhagen, where you’ll cruise right up to the entrance used by our Prime Minister. There are several photo stops along this stretch, and as our VIP guests, feel free to ask your guide for additional stops!
- Copenhagen City Hall - Next, we’ll head towards City Hall, Tivoli Gardens, and into the Latin Quarter.
- Tivoli Gardens - Tivoli Gardens is a famous park in Copenhagen. Your guide will tell you about this beautiful amusement park (please note we will only view it from the outside).
- Latin Quarter - Your guide will also reveal some hidden spots and provide a great overview of daily life in Copenhagen as you cruise through the charming Latin Quarter. Our stories are light and engaging, yet substantial - just like we all should be on a good day :)
- Stroeget - We’ll cruise parallel to the long pedestrian street (Stroeget) and pass it, but as cyclists and Segways are not allowed on Stroeget, we will not be riding there.
- Nikolaj Kunsthal - As we navigate through the inner city, you’ll see the Nikolaj Kunsthal - an art exhibition hall housed in a church.
- Copenhagen King’s Square - As we pass Magasin (our centrally located shopping mall in a beautiful building), we’ll head out to Kongens Nytorv (King’s New Square).
- Royal Danish Theater (Kongelige Teater) - It’s time for a well-deserved cafe break at the Royal Danish Theater. We offer special prices for our Segway cruisers on coffee, cake, and soft drinks. Purchases are optional, and it’s also a chance to stretch your legs and use the restroom. If you wish, it’s a great place to sample Danish delicacies from the bakery run by one of Noma’s co-founders.
- Amalienborg Museum - After our cafe break, we’ll continue the tour and head back to the Segway shop. But there’s still plenty to see! We’ll cruise by Kongens Nytorv, Magasin, and the artsy Bredgade. We’ll then drive straight onto the square in front of Amalienborg Palace - the Queen’s Residence - where we’ll have another photo stop. You can even pose in front of her Royal Guards and try to make them smile - we dare you!
- Frederiks Kirke (Marmorkirken) - The Frederik’s Church, also known as The Marble Church, is a stunning monument visible from Amalienborg Castle and The Royal Opera House.
- Gefionspringvandet - We then proceed to the Gefion Fountain, St. Alban’s Church, and Churchill Park - a beautiful green area in Copenhagen.
- St. Alban’s Church - The English Church is a charming, quaint church located near Churchill Park.
- Kastellet - We’ll cruise right through Kastellet (The Citadel), an active military area, offering a unique experience in central Copenhagen.
- Segway Cruise Copenhagen - At this point, your 2-hour Copenhagen Segway Tour will conclude. Please stay and enjoy a complimentary organic beverage (e.g., soda water, beer, coffee, tea) and you’ll have earned a fun Segway Souvenir!
We are also happy to provide further directions or assist you in booking any other activities you might want to explore in Copenhagen.
