Walking food tour of Copenhagen with Claudio - We had a wonderful food tasting experience with Claudio! Claudio has an obvious passion for food and Denmark which made for a very interesting experience. He selected traditional Danish foods and drinks and interspersed the tastings with historical facts which was a perfect combination. A couple of spots that we went to are very well known historical places and are known to sell out early but Claudio had called ahead and pre ordered so we were not disappointed! We noticed other large tour groups arrive and left empty handed! We ate foods that were delicious but that we would never have thought to eat if we were ordering on our own. I highly recommend booking Claudio, you will not be disappointed!

Great Food Experience in Copenhagen - Fabrine gave me an opportunity to try a nice variety of authentic Danish foods which were found in areas not frequented by tourists. We started with the best local hotdog. Other foods included herring, fish cakes, special meatball, pastries and chocolate. If you like food, this is the tour for you.

Best way to spend a few hours in Copenhagen - We were a party of only 2 and this was our first ever private food tour so we were unsure what to expect but we needn't have worried as we had such a good day. Our host for the food tour was Claudio and we really enjoyed our time with him. All the food stops were fun and the food was tasty and traditional. But what really made the experience special was Claudio's Knowledge of his city and the food scene. We learned so much about Copenhagen we wouldn't have learned from walking around on our own. He had a brilliant sense of humour and had us laughing lots. The food was delicious and well chosen, especially the danish pastry and we cannot recommend the tour enough. Thank you Claudio

Amazing day in Copenhagen - We only had one day in Copenhagen and I can’t imagine a better way to spend the afternoon. Grazi was amazing. We not only ate wonderful local food but we saw so many highlights of the city. Grazi entertained us with stories about the history of the city while showcasing the the food that makes Copenhagen special. You can hear her passion for the city and the culture in every sentence. We highly recommend taking this tour with Grazi!!

Foodie Heaven - We loved our walking tour with Claudio, it ranked as one of the best food tours we've ever taken. Claudio provided a good mix of a historical walking tour of the area combined with how the food played into that history. We went to so many spots that are not your usual tourist stops so we likely never would have tried them on our own. We were happy that many of the foods were very local and typical Danish foods so we could get an idea of what the local culture is about. We had a mix of savory and sweet foods. Everything was so delicious! We really understand now why the food scene is so big in Copenhagen. 10/10 do recommend you take this tour with Claudio!

Do your own tasting and save a lot - My friend and I took this tour thinking we'd get to taste some of the best local flavors of Copenhagen, soon we discovered our tour guide knew less about the city than we did. The other major red flag, was the cost to food ratio and what was beng counted towards the tasting. We booked six tastings, and at the first stop we had a pastry and had to share an elderflower drink, then we shared one hotdog (which was ok in taste, there is a way better one across town), she suggested we share, with the anticipation there would be lots more to come. Then we walked to the market(torvehallern) and she showed us the water of life stall (said she'd explain later) then she showed us the modern smorrebrod stall, and then took us to a more traditional smorrebord stall and asked us what we wanted, my friend and I thought the modern looked good, but then we were ushered to eat the traditional one. It was an odd interaction as she made it sound like we could have either or both. As we sat to eat the smorrebrod, which we thought was just our third tasting, she pulls out glasses and her own water of life liquor. It was good, but weird that we didn't go back to the local stall, for the unique option, right next to us. Then she got me a beer, my friend doesn't really drink so she passed, and suddenly we were counting our tastings. 1)pastry, 2) edlerflower drink (we didn't know this counted and we had to share) 3) one hotdog, that we shared 4) smorrebrod(from the place we didn't want and thought we had an option to choose) 5) her own supplied water of life, 6) the beer, that again only one of us got, 7) a chocolate place(this was the best and I recommend you go visit them). So all in we didn't get what we paid for in food and we were disappointed with the limited history, even very little history about the type of foods we were eating.
