Great long day - This was a very long day, but totally worth it! Our guide Josue was great and shared so much helpful information on the long drive from El Salvador to Guatemala, and then to Honduras. We learned a lot about each country's distinct culture, education, and social systems. The border crossing was a lot (I did not expect to get 7 stamps in my passport from one day trip!), but Josue was there to guide us through this. You will need to exchange money at the Honduran border since they do not take USD. There will be some men there w/ stacks of cash to do the exchange. I almost got scammed here because one of the money exchange men tried to give me less limpiras for my dollar. Pay attention and get your correct amount of money! Bring snacks for the long roundtrip. And a hat because the sun at the ruins is very intense. Good walking shoes and maybe some bug spray. After the tour of the ruins, we went into town for lunch and had a few minutes to buy some souvenirs and take pictures. Josue also had us stop in Santa Ana on the way back to see the town; it was so lively and the big cathedral made me feel like I was in Milan or Barcelona. Very nice day! It was also good to meet other solo travelers and bond with them since this tour isn't very big.

Josuel excellent - the excursion ES long, especially the journey. The good ES that we were with Josue, who was an exceptional, punctual, responsible boy, conduit pru DEnte, takes care of even the smallest detail, from the music he plays, to what he talks about. Tells you history DE his country, anecdotes DE both countries. I think DE 10 ES, and my congratulations ES to him and his exceptional DE job. EN Copán very interesting ruins. The crossing DE the borders and the journey became exhausting especially on the way back. But ENO, you know, is well specified in the description.

Great day trip to Copan - I had an incredible time on the full-day trip to the Copan ruins. The logistics were flawless as our trip guide Josué was meticulous about sending us pickup, drop-off, and border details in advance over Whatsapp. Everything went smoothly. Also, our walking tour guide Gladis was incredibly informative (and very funny) so the site visit was on-the-mark.

Amazing - This tour was a perfect adventure into culture and history. Our guide in El Salvador, Josue, was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the region. He provided us all of the information we needed for the border crossings a day in advance so I felt well prepared. We even made an additional stop in the town of Santa Ana to see a beautiful cathedral and theater on the way back. Our guide in Honduras, Gladys was brilliant about the historic site of Copan. She explained everything we saw and was extremely patient the entire time when we wanted to take photos or ask questions. This was an absolutely amazing tour. It was extremely well run and very professional. Josue kept everything running smoothly and made sure we made it through seven border crossings without issue. I felt like we had plenty of time at Copan and did not feel rushed, even though it was an extremely long day for all of the guides. I highly recommend this tour. It is a true adventure led by expert guides!!

Seamless Border Crossing and Fantastic Guides! - I had an amazing experience on this tour from El Salvador to Honduras! Our driver and tour guide, Josue, made the long journey smooth and comfortable. He was professional, friendly, and ensured everything went according to plan.
Once we arrived at the site, Marvin took over as our local guide and did an incredible job. He was very knowledgeable, engaging, and provided so much interesting history and context that really brought the place to life.
Everything was well-organized, safe, and enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour if you want to explore Honduras stress-free with fantastic guides!

Got to see 2 new countries, ruins, and experience Honduran cuisine in one day. - This tour was worth the money. Our tour guide, Gabby, picked us up at our hotel and we drove through El Salvador, Guatemala and then Honduras. The Copan ruins were amazing. Our tour guide, at Copan, Giovanni, was informative and answered all of our questions. Seeing the ruins, the nature, including the macaws and hearing the history was incredible. After seeing the ruins, we had a delicious lunch at a Honduran restaurant in the city of Copan, which was nice because we got to experience Honduran food in addition to seeing the ruins. Gabby was an awesome driver and guide as well. She was very kind and helpful in regard to handling the border crossings. It was a long day with a lot of time spent in the car, but I would 100% recommend this tour.

Copan Ruinas Day Tour - Josue was a great driver and guide. He completed the 5-6 hour drive both ways smoothly despite water flooding, a broken power line, and heavy rain. Marvin was our tour guide at the Copan Ruinas site and his passion for Mayan history truly showed. Whether he was discussing the numbering systems, the dynasties, or general purposes of the Copan Mayan site, his humor and intelligence made the content engaging and easy to understand. Highly recommend! Muchísimas gracias!

Wonderful Copan Tour - We weren't sure what to expect when we booked this trip but we had an amazing time to see Copan Ruins. Our tour guide, Josue, was fantastic—warm, friendly, and incredibly hospitable. He shared valuable insights not only about San Salvador but also about the neighbouring Central American countries. He thoughtfully planned every detail, and as a lovely bonus, we got to see the beautifully lit Santa Ana Cathedral at night. Despite the long travelling hours, the trip to Copan was smooth and well-paced. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a well-organized and memorable tour to Copan Ruins in English!
