Book This Tour! 3 countries One Day and Mayan Ruins - Baby was our guide and it was an amazing day. It was nice to get out of city and go into the countryside in 3 countries (El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras) the site and guide were stunning and we were lucky not very crowded which allowed great pictures, do the add on of the caves. The lunch afterwards was so good at a local Honduran Restaurant. The transfers at the borders was worth trip on its own.
Ask for Gaby for your guide 5 Stars!

Smooth ride and tour is well worth the drive - Gaby was super friendly along the drive and helped us smoothly cross all the borders and stop for breakfast/lunch. The Copán tour was great as well, super interesting site with a great explanation of the statues and historical significance of the site. The tunnel tour is worth it as well!

A Must-See Experience at Copan Ruins - Visiting the Copan Ruins was truly one of the highlights of my travels. These are by far the most well-preserved ruins I have ever seen, offering an incredible glimpse into the richness of the Mayan civilization. Although the journey to get there is quite long, it is absolutely worth it for the experience and history you encounter on site.
A special mention goes to our guide, Romero. His explanations were clear, engaging, and made us appreciate the significance of every detail even more.
If you’re considering the trip, don’t hesitate—it’s an unforgettable experience.

Best Trip in Central America - It was one of the best trips I've ever had, Alejandro Josué (our driver) was the best tour guide. He was very nice, smiley, energetic, young & ambitious, honest & speak English very well. He made the journey very easy (especially crossing the borders) & enjoyable. El Salvador Positive Tours are lucky to have him with their crew. I'd definitely go again with him & recommend others to travel with him.

Fantastic Experience! - Francisco or driver was very good at communicating his arrival and very personable. His knowledge and friendliness and driving skills for the long journey there and back not to mention getting us thru all the checkpoints seamlessly was outstanding. Once at Ruinas Copan our guide Ceasar was equally outstanding! His knowledge of Mayan history and explanation of what we toured was top notch. We were never rushed, our quotations were answered and I learned so much more about Copan that makes it even more impressive then I fist thought. So thanks to them both for making this very historic trip for me a very memorable one. For future travelers, you will not be disappointed with this tour at all, especially if you get Francisco as your driver and Ceasar as your guide.

Mesoamerican History - It is a long drive from San Salvador but it is worth it to see the Mayan ruins, the beautiful country side and the Macaw. The tour guide, Gaby, was knowledgeable, friendly and a great driver. The guide in Honduras was also amazing.

Great long day - This was a very long day, but totally worth it! Our guide Josue was great and shared so much helpful information on the long drive from El Salvador to Guatemala, and then to Honduras. We learned a lot about each country's distinct culture, education, and social systems. The border crossing was a lot (I did not expect to get 7 stamps in my passport from one day trip!), but Josue was there to guide us through this. You will need to exchange money at the Honduran border since they do not take USD. There will be some men there w/ stacks of cash to do the exchange. I almost got scammed here because one of the money exchange men tried to give me less limpiras for my dollar. Pay attention and get your correct amount of money! Bring snacks for the long roundtrip. And a hat because the sun at the ruins is very intense. Good walking shoes and maybe some bug spray. After the tour of the ruins, we went into town for lunch and had a few minutes to buy some souvenirs and take pictures. Josue also had us stop in Santa Ana on the way back to see the town; it was so lively and the big cathedral made me feel like I was in Milan or Barcelona. Very nice day! It was also good to meet other solo travelers and bond with them since this tour isn't very big.

Josuel excellent - the excursion ES long, especially the journey. The good ES that we were with Josue, who was an exceptional, punctual, responsible boy, conduit pru DEnte, takes care of even the smallest detail, from the music he plays, to what he talks about. Tells you history DE his country, anecdotes DE both countries. I think DE 10 ES, and my congratulations ES to him and his exceptional DE job. EN Copán very interesting ruins. The crossing DE the borders and the journey became exhausting especially on the way back. But ENO, you know, is well specified in the description.
