half day hike - Enjoyable half day hike with Jungle Me( Ricardo was our guide). All went smoothly which is easier in the small group but you need to be fit enough to go sometimes quite steeply uphill for short periods. We had perfect weather, Ricardo is very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and attentive. Enjoyed his sharing about the history of the urban forest and the different flora etc. The highlights were seeing wildlife: coati( brazilian raccoons), a toucan and the beautiful view points. Highly recommended.

Amazing experience in the forest with local wildlife, waterfalls and cave - Amazing day in the lively forest with pleasant people. Saw a lots of interesting plants and animals, like sloth (everyone to whom I told about that was excited!), monkeys, toucan, different sorts of butterflies etc. Visited several waterfalls, a small cave, lovely garden, view points, and learned many interesting things about forest and preserving nature in general. The forest itself is amazing, the fantastic guide and nature lover Renata was very enthusiastic, she answered all our questions and told us much more about Brasil than we expected, including history, geography, ecosystems, wild life and life in general, took photos of us, and made it a very pleasant trip. There were two more people in the tour and I felt like I was in some trip to the forest with friends, not on a guided tour, the atmosphere in the group was so relaxed and friendly. One member of a group took a waterfall "shower". Overall, it was one lovely day in the forest with nice people, which I would recommend to everyone, particularly to the nature lovers.

Great mix of history and light jungle trekking - Tito was our great tour guide. Tour started with a comfortable drive from pickup location to the Tijuca jungle drop off point, where we got a quick history of Brazil before embarking on a moderate 6km trek through great scenery, complete with caves, waterfalls, remnants of 1800-century coffee plantations and dense jungle. You completely forget that you are in an area surrounded by city. Total trip time incl back and forth to Rio in-city pickup point (Leme) was around 6h. Remember bug repellant and swimsuit for a quick dip in the waterfall towards the end of the walk!

Excellent day in Tijuca rainforest. - Doing this tour made for such an enjoyable. I like how they cap the group at six people. As someone who hikes regularly I feel smaller groups are better for this kind of activity. It’s much easier to keep the group together. Apart from that our guide, Riccardo, made the day one to remember. He cared about his guests and wanted to be sure they had the best experience possible. You can see he is very passionate about what he does. In all it was a great day and I had lots of fun on this tour. You should definitely book this if you are looking to explore Tijuca.
