Great mix of history and light jungle trekking - Tito was our great tour guide. Tour started with a comfortable drive from pickup location to the Tijuca jungle drop off point, where we got a quick history of Brazil before embarking on a moderate 6km trek through great scenery, complete with caves, waterfalls, remnants of 1800-century coffee plantations and dense jungle. You completely forget that you are in an area surrounded by city. Total trip time incl back and forth to Rio in-city pickup point (Leme) was around 6h. Remember bug repellant and swimsuit for a quick dip in the waterfall towards the end of the walk!

Excellent day in Tijuca rainforest. - Doing this tour made for such an enjoyable. I like how they cap the group at six people. As someone who hikes regularly I feel smaller groups are better for this kind of activity. It’s much easier to keep the group together. Apart from that our guide, Riccardo, made the day one to remember. He cared about his guests and wanted to be sure they had the best experience possible. You can see he is very passionate about what he does. In all it was a great day and I had lots of fun on this tour. You should definitely book this if you are looking to explore Tijuca.

A fantastic forest experience! - We really loved this tour, particularly as our tour guide Riccardo was brilliant! He was so knowledgeable about the rainforest and was really passionate and enthusiastic taking us around, which made it even more enjoyable! We didn't see any monkeys but saw lots of wildlife and loved hiking through such a beautiful environment. Pick up and drop off was smooth and our small group of 5 worked perfectly! Would definitely recommend.

Awesome and educational experience - The day with Tito was awesome. A nice and easy walk through the Tijuca Rainforest. Tito was very helpful and told us a lot about the history of Brazil and the rainforest. I would definitely recommend this tour. The path is not too strenuous and the refreshment under the waterfall is really great. Tito also gave us a few tips for Rio itself, which we were happy to follow and they were all really good. 5 stars for this tour!

Vibrant Atlantic Forest within the city - a pleasant immersion in the greenery of Rio de Janeiro - From booking and pre-tour service to the tour itself, I thought everything was really great! Likewise, subsequent contact, sending a photo of the group and other information. The team was super helpful and clear at all times (as it is a not so easy trail for those without training, they were very careful in warning me about the moderate difficulty before I made the purchase, as well as paying attention to my pace on the day's walk and including walking stick loan). Thank you Anna and Tito! The guide Tito was great! He knows a lot about Tijuca Forest Park and taught us many things about the nature of the place and even a great summary of the history of Brazil to contextualize Rio de Janeiro and Brazil at the beginning of the tour for foreign people (and it was a review pretty cool for me, as a Brazilian). Thank you Tito! The trail is very beautiful, with a lot of vegetation, as well as ruins and other historical points within the forest itself. My only suggestion would be to stop for about 5 minutes at the Mayirink Chapel for photos, as it is very beautiful. The waterfall where we went to bathe was delicious (very beautiful and clean), very energizing, and would already be a great end to the trail, but it got even better with the stop at Vista Chinesa, a high point (literally and metaphorically) in Rio. It was a place I always wanted to visit, but because it was far away, it hadn't worked out yet. And here, it combined really well to close the tour with a flourish. * I was warned by the team that depending on the day of the week it would not be possible to visit Vista Chinesa, but I think it is worth this note also written on the website, for anyone who wants to see this attraction within the tour. I'm glad they warned me and then I went on a weekday and was able to see Rio de Janeiro from above. We even saw howler monkeys, as well as beaches and mountains from above, with a beautiful panoramic view. Another cool thing was the comfort of the car and the punctuality when picking us up from our hotels. Also interaction with other people in the group. I was very happy with the choice of this trail and Jungle Me! I'm going to become a customer :-)
