Saw the important sites - We saw the most important sites in Rio on a very well air-conditioned bus. Our tour guide gave us the pertinent information and kept the tour on track timewise even though we had a very large group. The Brazilian barbecue was OK., but not fabulous.

Long Wait Times! - Being able to see Christ the Reedemer in person was an awesome experience, however, the wait times/lines to get in the train to go up to the mountain was ridiculous and outrageous. Also, once you finally make it to the top you only get 40 minutes to climb up 208 steps or wait in a long elevator line to actually see the Christ before meeting back with the guide at the bottom. Then, after the group was together there was another crazy line to load the train and get back to the bottom of the mountain. Once at the bottom we had to wait over one hour for the bus driver to show up, which was ridiculous, to continue to the next attraction. The sugar loaf mountain attraction lines were not too crazy but the way they pack up those cable cars is insane, you are basically touching and breathing on each other from how pack it is. The rest of the attractions are just okay considering we were only on the outside and for like 10-15 minutes each. Lastly, the lunch place was not that great. I've had better. I would recommend touring the attractions on your own and paying extra to skip the lines if possible.

Corcovado & Sugar Loaf.... - Corcovado & Sugar Loaf. Lunch terrible. Venue was scruffy, hygiene appalling in toilets, drinks overpriced. All guides were served before guests. Quality of food, particularly beef was tough.
