When your tour is finished our driver will be heading back to Copacabana neighborhood crossing the beaches of Leblon and Ipanema, therefore you must inform our tour guide where you are staying so we can make sure you are dropped off as close as possible to your hotel.

I love Alberto! He is best guide ever! - Alberto grew up in the Favela and he knows every corner of the Favela. He introduced us to his friends, his neighbors, even the neighborhood cat 😜 He knows the history so well especially the political situation in the country. I feel so safe having Alberto as my tour guide and enjoy his tour very much. For readers out there, Favela is not as dangerous as the media shows. In fact, I feel so touched seeing how the people in the Favela help one another to get through their financial hardship. It is truly a community where everyone helps one another.

Great Rocinha tour with local guide - Our tour guide is a local resident of the favela and provided invaluable information about the community while walking us down main passages and pointing out local hot spots. It gave me a more complete picture of the inner workings of these underprivileged communities. It was a spectacular alternative to mainstream Rio’s attractions such as Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf Mountain.

A fantastic tour and would highly recommend it - A brilliant afternoon out with Alberto to see around his favela. He was so passionate about where he lived and was a funny educating host. We watched children beautifully dance and walked in the lives of the people in the favela. I always felt very safe and would recommend this trip highly to See how people live ❤️

Great Tour of a Favela with a Local - Unique experience to see a favela with a local who grew up there and still lives there. We even met his parents and saw where he lives. Eye-opening to see how people live there and understand the different class strata within the favela. Highly recommend!!

It was a amazing, eye-opening and interesting experience - It was a amazing, eye-opening and interesting experience. I really recommend. I must be honest. I heard al the bad story's and ideas from the movies. Which made me a bit afraid to do this tour. But my boyfriend insisted. After talking to some people we met, we decided to go. And I must say, I was flabbergasted. It really changed my perspective. Our guide Carlos was a big help to that. It was amazing just listening to him. The way he spoke and how motivated he was, was just amazing and inspiring.

Rochinha favela tour - A great tour! We felt very safe with Alberto and Bruno. Alberto showed us inside his home which we thought was going above and beyond what we'd expected to see. Lots of steps involved and take water with you! Incredible views!
