Kayak the Coorong Sunset tour - We did the Sunset tour- James led us across the Muray mouth (at a safe distance) in our kayaks to Younghusband peninsula that can only be reached by boat. We explored the vegetation for native juniper berries and walked on to the shore of the Murray mouth, returning to a picnic of local cheese, wine, fruit a day homemade goodies. Highly recommended!!

Coorong Classic - Sunset 3 hour tour. Brilliant kayaking experience. Kayaking on the Coorong with backdrop of the raging southern ocean over the dunes and a spectacular sunset silhouetting the horizon. Alex our tour guide displayed confident water skills also imparting his developing knowledge of bird life and local vegetation relating to its uses by first Australians. An extensive spread of local wines, cheeses, fruit platter and authentic Aussie cookies were provided mid tour. A truly Australian estuary and coastal experience with excellent tour guide Alex. Thank you.

Amazing day - Amazing tour, although I live in Goolwa and have fished the Coorong multiple times the tour was excellent and gave me a totally perspective of the Coorong and the delicate eco system.

The best decision I have made recently. - The best decision I have made recently. I have been in Adelaide on business for a couple of weeks and wanted something to do on the weekend. The event was well organised and the guide was very knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. It was a most educational tour, the food was great, especially the cakes and biscuits.

Pure bliss! - Highly recommend this tour to experience the Coorong from the water. An easy paddle and fresh, delicious food provided. Our guide Oscar was very knowledgable and we were able to sample local bush tucker.

Amazing day - We had the best day in Coorong with Brenton and Alex. From the get go everything was clear and organised. They showed us the best spots of Coorong and we got to see heaps of different birds and plants. They provided delicious snacks and lunch as well. Would definitely recommend.

Heavenly kayaking in the Coorong NP - In our blitz tour of Australia we could spend only one day in Goolwa and Coorong National Park. We were going back and forth between choosing a boat trip or kayaking. We were a bit unsure about our physical abilities of kayaking for six hours and then, you know, this eternal question of bathrooms for folks like us in our late 60s. Funny, weather conditions didn't bother us since we were making reservations from Colorado and had a perfect image of Australia being always hot and sunny. Adelaide met us with invigorating 61 F (=16 C) and rain, Kangaroo Island was even colder. The closer we were getting to Goolwa, the more doubtful we were about the kayaking perspective. And then finally on Nov 30 we met our guide Tom, and all our fears melted away. Tom was patient, kind and absolutely unpretentious, the whole world gets brighter around Tom. The sun came out, the wind calmed down, Tom guided our group of three through the Coorong waters with the confidence of Moses leading his people. Not a single second we felt unsafe, uncomfortable or unloved. In six hours we gained a week's worth of Coorong knowledge. We also got a very new important skill - harvesting Goolwa pipis (small clams) by dancing in the ocean. Thank you Tom!

Fantastic Family Experience - My family spent Mother’s Day kayaking the Coorong. It’s just something I wanted to do with my husband and 4 children. We had such an amazing day enjoying the serenity of the environment, getting in some fun fitness, enjoyed beautiful food prepared for us with an amazing view. We gained an education of the area by our informed guide and have all gained a refreshed appreciation of our fragile environment. The experience of walking through the sand hills, kayaking on calm water, and the vision of pounding waves, bird life, and the fur seals just gave us all an instant calm to our normally busy lives. It was so much fun, we laughed a lot. Our guide was brilliant and not once did any of us feel unsafe, unsure or bored. We certainly will be back for this tour and one of the other guided tours on offer. To our lovely guide Leon, thank you so very much. We didn’t want the day to end. The Coorong Day Tour was definitely worth every cent and our 2hr drive from home to get there. Cindy & Family

Lovely Day exploring the Coorong's Beauty - My partner & I set out with 2 friends & Riley under "suspect" skies. However, once on the water the weather improved & the lagoon water remained calm. We apparently were doing the trip in reverse due to the tides which suited us just fine - no fun paddling against the current! Saw a number of seals on the main sand island & a number of birds. More paddling before we stopped for morning tea & some lovely cake from Brenton's grandmother before heading off for a nature walk. Riley was a great guide & was very knowledgeable on all flora & fauna. He was not bad at cooking either with a great fish salad roll for each at lunch (apart from the Vegan who was catered for as well). Back in the kayaks for another hour of paddling before the rain appeared. Great day out & well worth the drive down from Adelaide.
