Family / Friends fun day - Santorini private tours - Wine tours and cooking class with Amani is perfection. We had a wonderful day with a visit to two different local wineries. One was a newer production facility with a lengthy family history and the other a family owned and operated business. They both were wonderful. After drinking and enjoying our time tasting different wines we went for a cooking class with Litsa. Learning how to make some traditional Greek favorites was the highlight of our trip. The owners restaurant ,Aeolos Tavern , was amazing and the food was fantastic. We had a blast learning and most of all eating. Such a wonderful day. Thank you to Amani and Golden Ibex you made our Santorini vacation perfect !

The REAL Santorini - Amani is a gifted guide and her passion for Greek history and culture helped to enrich our tour and experience on the island of Santorini. Would take another tour with Golden Ibex or recommend to a friend or family member.

Excellent Experience - This experience was one of our highlights of Santorini! Our tour guide (Armani) was one of the most interesting people I’ve ever met. She has great pride in her country and a knowledge of many other cultures. We tasted great wines and had a great company.
The cooking class was the cherry on top of an exciting day. The food was amazing and the owners were so warm and welcoming. Not to mention, the view from the top of the mountain is excellent.
We brought a bottle back from our trip and made tomato fritters at home to re-create that experience.
Do yourself a favor and see some of the other side of the island and hang out with extraordinary people.

FANTASTIC! - We took our adult children and their significant others to Greece and Italy and this tour was our favorite! Amani was SO knowledgeable. She told us what the different Greek last names and how it tells what the family business would be with a particular name! The winery tours were amazing and the cooking class was a fantastic time that we all got to do and experience together. The owner/chef was super nice and showed us some tasty recipes to make. We WILL do this tour again!

Wonderful tour and guide! - We took an excellent tour with Amani that consisted of a cooking class and a tour and tasting at two wineries. Amani was very prompt in picking us up at our hotel and was very knowledgeable and informative when both sharing information about Santorini and when answering our questions. We stopped at two wineries before heading to a local restaurant for our cooking class. We were able to make several local dishes with the owner and to enjoy an amazing lunch in an absolutely beautiful setting overlooking the caldera. The owner and staff of the restaurant were amazing and very welcoming. Amani also allowed us to make a quick stop at Santorini Brewery on the way back to our hotel so that we could purchase a t-shirt. We never felt rushed and enjoyed Amani’s company and her information and perspective about Santorini. Highly recommend this company and Amani!

Great! - Fantastic tour with even better people. Super knowledgeable and some of the nicest people you will ever meet.
The wineries were beautiful and the food you cook yourself is 5 star. Highly recommend to anyone interested in learning more about Greek culture, specifically the local wine and cuisine.

Food and wine tour is a must! - Our whole experience was amazing! We learned so much about the culture of Santorini. My husband and I were on our honeymoon and we had our own private wine tasting tour and cooking class. We went to two different wineries and the tour guides were very informative. Then we cooked at an authentic Greek restaurant and ate a huge meal! I highly recommend doing this tour as an activity to learn more about Santorini.

If you’re wondering if you should do this - you should! - We did the wine tour and cooking class and it was seriously one of the best days of our 17 day trip. Our guide was lovely and very knowledgeable about Santorini. She told us all about the Island and pointed out really cool things to us along the way. Even gave us ideas on where to go during free time afterwards- which we did and loved it! Our cooking class at Aeolos Tavern was amazing as we got to learn how to make traditional Santorini dishes and then eat a few additional things. It was an overall incredible experience and absolutely worth doing. Definitely recommending to family and friends when they visit Santorini and we will absolutely do it again when we return. Thank you so much for such a memorable part of our vacation.

Awesome Wine Tasting and Cooking Class in Santorini! - I love wine and cooking so this is a perfect tour for me. However, I was not sure whether my husband would like it. It turned out he totally enjoyed the tour as much as I did. Our tour guide is knowledgeable, funny and so easy to hand out. He greed us with Greek bagel in the morning. He handpicked two wonderful wineries for us to try. He was the translator for our cooking class. He was even everyone's personal photographer! Everything was well organized. This tour is highly recommended.
