Absolutely Incredible - An mind-blowing experience! We were welcomed into the home of our guide with warm hospitality! Those that helped with preparing our tajine provided an expert insight into home-cooking and taught us many skills! Very accommodating for kids and teens. From our hosts home we were provided with fresh mint tea (some of the best we had in all of Morocco), and breathtaking views of the Atlas mountains! The air was cold, sweet and crisp, a welcome respite from the smoke and smells of Marrakesh. The snow on top of the mountains was right out of a film or movie set. In between cooking and preparing food we were taken on walks of the local village, waterfall, and lookouts! Our guide had excellent English and welcomed us into his community! Overall would highly recommend!!!

MUST DO if in Marrakech - Samir was an amazing host. Inviting me and my girlfriend into his Berber home to learn how to prepare a traditional tagine! His family’s hospitality was warm and welcoming and set us up perfectly for the day ahead. We were expertly guided through the food preparation process, teaching us a lovely recipe to take home. Whilst it was cooking we took a walk around the villages that make up Imlil. The breathtaking scenery of the Atlas Mountains is a sight I’ll treasure for a lifetime. Samir’s local knowledge is extraordinary and the whole experience was incredibly personal and authentic. He took us away from the typical touristic routes to give us an inside view of village life, whilst also showing us the best secret spots for the BEST views. Would thoroughly recommend!!

Food Porn In The Atlas Mountains - We booked a trip via Airbnb which included the cooking class at Riad Oussagou and a walk through the Berber villages. First Hamid and Sabir taught us how to cook a classic Morrocan Tajine which tasted fantastic by the way! While the food was cooking Sabir took us on a real personal walk through the villages. He showed us where he lives and even invited us into his home to have some tea. It was really interesting to get such an insight into the life of the Berbers! After the walk we finally got to taste the delicious Tajine we made. All in all it was a unique and really personal experience that we would recommend anyone!

Amazing day trip - We booked an experience with this riad via air bnb. Amazing place to visit, we had a driver who stopped a few times on the way from Marakesh with the opportunity to buy local produce, he was very punctual and friendly, and dropped us at the riad's where we met our amazing host Samir in a little village in the mountains - they had a power cut in the village but it didn't stop us cooking up a storm making a local tagine! Whilst it was cooking Samir took us on a hike up to a waterfall - steep in places and sometimes not a definite path so good trainers a minimum, I'd say walking shoes probably best. Then we came back, we had lunch which also included homemade soup and fruit salad, then went on another little walk to another nearby village. Highly recommended - thanks!

Atlas Mountain Day Trip - We had a great day in the Atlas Mountains starting with a private Tagine Cooking class and followed by a hike to the nearby waterfalls. Our guide Samil was super talkative and very happy to share his knowledge about his culture and area. The selfmade Tagine afterwards was an amazingly delicious treat! Great value for money !

Very authentic experience - Would 100% recommend, especially if you are staying in Marrakech, it's a nice escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. We were able to learn more about the Berber life and people and try traditonal Moroccan foods. Our driver and our guide were great and very knowlegeable. Beautiful place, great people, great time! PS: Bring good shoes and be prepared to walk a bit

Highly recommend - My boyfriend and I booked this experience just for the two of us and had an amazing day thanks to Hassan and the rest of the team. They were all very friendly, and the tajine was delicious. We even bought a tajine pot/plate in order to recreate it at home. The walk around the Atlas mountains and Berber villages took an hour and a half as planned, and we got to see some beautiful scenery including a lovely waterfall. We then stopped for coffee at Hassan's house with his wife - so welcoming! Highly recommend this as a day trip from Marrakech.
