Constantine, alternatively referred to as Qasentina, serves as the administrative center of the Constantine Province in Algeria’s northern region. It is often dubbed the City of Bridges due to its captivating landscape, situated atop a high plateau, 640 meters above sea level, nearly encircled by steep gorges with the Rhumel River slicing through….
Constantine, alternatively referred to as Qasentina, serves as the administrative center of the Constantine Province in Algeria’s northern region. It is often dubbed the City of Bridges due to its captivating landscape, situated atop a high plateau, 640 meters above sea level, nearly encircled by steep gorges with the Rhumel River slicing through. Steeped in historical significance, Constantine’s origins date back to the Phoenician era, who called it Sewa (meaning ‘royal city’). Subsequently, the city became part of Numidia, where it was known as Cirta, until it was conquered by the Romans and renamed in honor of Emperor Constantine the Great.

- Amazing time and thanks to Fancyellow.
Scenery was beautiful and the activities were great. All the accommodation was lovely and our guides have a fountain of knowledge.

Fancy Yellow - The Best Way to Experience Algeria - My wife and I had an incredible time in Algeria thanks to Fancy Yellow. From exploring the bridges and history of Constantine, walking through ancient Roman colonies in Timgad and Djemila, and seeing the old mosques of Ghardaïa, we were able to learn so much about such a fascinating country. Special shout out to Bilad, Saïd, and Zaki, who did such a wonderful job of opening up the country to us. We cannot recommend this company enough.

Good, knowledgeable, honest, local company. - This company are so organised and know every part of Algeria in depth. Each guide and driver were knowledgeable, happy and friendly. They will tailor make any itinerary you want and honestly the price would be as cheap as if you organised it yourself. They use good hotels and I can not fault them . Well done and thanks again.

Enjoy in Algiers - Good organized tour with a very nice guide, if you have time definetly good experience, how to go true the town...you will see the old town, hear about the history and enjoy the botanical garden

Beautiful city, we loved it! - Islam was an excellent guide. We saw everything, he took us around the whole of Constantine. We really enjoyed the day and we can highly recommend this tour, and Islam, as an excellent person to show you the city.

My guide Islam was excellent - Really good guide. Tailored it due to fog so I could see the bridges better in the afternoon. Really knowledgeable. Enjoyed it. Nabil was excellent and safe driver too.

Incredible experience - I recently completed a 5-day tour of visiting UNESCO sites and Roman ruins in Algeria. Fancy Yellow helped me with tour guides and transportations in Algiers, Tiddis, Constantine, Djemila, Timgad and Tipasa. The communication with Islam and Omar was prompt and they were able to accormodate some of the last-minute changes.
Algeria's tourism industry is not as developed comparing to its neighbors. But I was blown away by the experience, largely thanks to my tour guides Imen and Soumia. Not only did these ladies speak perfect English, they also showed great amount care for my interests. They shared a wealth of knowledge about the history and culture and were always ready to answer my questions with enthusiasm and insight. The open and honest conversations we had gave me a deeper understanding of the country and a glimpse into the daily lives of its people. I was also impressed by the professionalism of Haroun who was our driver in Constantine for 3 days.
Algeria is truly the hidden gem of North Africa. I can't wait to return to explore the stunning landscapes of the south.

Excellent Tour Agency - Kept All Promises - Wonderful Visit to this UN Touristed County - The Fancyellow team kept all promises and provided me with an excellent tour of Constantine and several other Algerian cities. From beginning to end, they communicated clearly and quickly. They addressed all of my pre- trip concerns, adjusted my itinerary as needed and ultimately provided me with an incredible visit to Algeria. I started in Algiers. I took an early morning walk around the city on my own before meeting their guide. Terrific walk through Algiers and a metro ride to the Martyr’s memorial. I visited Ghardaia - a must see on any trip to Algeria. Again, excellent guides. And finally Constantine - a visually stunning city with an incredible mosque. Again - Fancyellow’s guides showed up as promised. Hotels booked were great and they booked all domestic flights. Air Algerie was on time and efficient for all of my flights. Highly recommend this group for Algeria travel.
