Best Bachelorette party wine tasting - The wine tasting at Capitan Drake was our first stop for our Bachelorette party weekend. WE LOVED IT! The food was amazing, the wine was amazing and was described so well by the absolute amazing and nice Ricardo. At the and he surprised us with a Champagne which the bride was allowed to cut open with a big knife. We had lots of fun and we highly recommend it!! Thank you so much Ricardo for welcoming us so warmly and making the evening fun with your sense of humor!

Worth doing when in Como! - Taste some amazing Italian wines on offer, share a plate with friends or make some new ones! Sampled some fabulous wines, a great range from prosecco to chianti and a devine cab sav. All explained by the helpful staff and the lovely owner. The tasting is perfectly accompanied by a delicious plate of cheese and meats as you work yoyr way through the lovely wines, tucked away in Captain Drake's wine shop.

Wonderful wine night! - We all enjoyed the friendliness and knowledge of Ricardo and all the staff. The meat and cheese pairings were delicious, and delicious wines. Seven glass may have been too many for us- and we realized this the next day. Fun people at our sitting who we enjoyed meeting.

Excellent wine tasting - Extremely nice hosts, very good organization and international company. We tried plenty of local bottles, bought some after the tasting and truly recommend this attraction to anybody visiting Como lake!

All of the stuf and Hosts... - All of the stuf and Hosts Are Great! Their expertice is brilliant! I learnd a lot while asking questions about degustation! Antipasti and Wine are rich in qualiti and Quanti! I can recomand to ask questions and be open to learn something new! Amazing Expirience!

10 out of 10 would recommend - Such a great experience! Everyone was so knowledge and friendly. I was traveling alone and they really made me feel comfortable. All of the wines we tried were amazing and from all over Italy. Definitely worth you time.

Fun experience with great wines and host! - We had a rainy day in Como and booked this tour last minute. We were greeted when we arrived by Mama and the sommelier, Ricardo. He was a wonderful host and was very knowledgeable about the wines and champagne selected. The food pairing was very generous including beef, prosciutto, cheeses and vegetables - a whole light meal! With our last wine, he presented Mama’s homemade chocolate salami, which was wonderful. This is a great experience for couples or groups and I highly recommend!

Incredible Wine & Food Experience!!! - My family and I visited Capitan Drake for some wine tasting. Davide and Giovanna were absolutely incredible! They welcomed us with open arms and warm hospitality. From the glasses of wine to the exquisite food, we were on cloud 9. Our time was wonderful and that we decided to go back twice in the day. The prices of their wine and food were impeccable. Thank you for the great time in Como!

Hidden Gem!! - We had the best time at Captain Drakes. Wines were delicious and chosen exactly to suit our pallets, staff super informative throughout! Would recommend to absolutely anyone in the vicinity. Fantastic experience!

Nice experience - Ricardo was a great host. It was cool and if travelling alone it’s great for meeting other people but not I think it’s expensive for what it is
