Full Day Monte Alban, Cuilapam, Alebrijes and Coyotepec

Zona Arqueologica de Monte Alban - First we go and visit Monte Albán, the largest city of the Zapotec, possessing the dominant power of the central valleys region.
You will be amazed at the majestic construction of this archeological zone, the way the Zapotecs lived and especially the spectacular views.

Convento de Cuilapam - In Cuilapam de Guerrero, pass through the Cuilapam Convent, a 16th-century Dominican convent known for its unfinished basilica and its open chapel. Get to know this historic colonial feature aimed at encouraging more indigenous people to convert to Catholicism.

San Antonio Arrazola - We will arrive at the house of a local artist of popular art, to know how they carve the world-renowned wood of the copal tree, and shape the alebrijes that represent a fantastic zoology of mythical creations and monsters.
The ideal place to buy an authentic craft, if you want.

San Bartolo Coyotepec - San Bartolo Coyotepec, where you will fall in love with the pottery pieces of black mud elaborated by the local artisans, creating pieces of extraordinary beauty with unique techniques. At you will have a demonstration how the Black Pottery is made from pre-columbian times.

Excellent guide and comfortable trip - We were so lucky to have Ada as our guide for both days. She is very knowledgeable and was willing to answer all questions in both English and Spanish. I liked the small group size on this tour - we were able to chat with others on the bus and while walking around. Plenty of rest stops and the lunches were authentic and plentiful. The bus was comfortable and they stayed on schedule. We really got a great education on the early peoples and culture of Oaxaca. Highly recommend.

THE BEST TOUR TO KNOW THE SURROUNDINGS OF OAXACA! - A tour that has EVERYTHING to know the most important (and beautiful) sites around the city of Oaxaca, the comfort of the vehicle, the coordination of times (all well synchronized), the historical and cultural information received, I fall short for express how satisfied my wife and a server were with this 2-day trip. In addition, Edelmira, our guide (fortunately both days), with the support of the drivers Alberto and Isaías and Montserrat (Enjoy Oaxaca), made the tour honestly unbeatable, punctual people concerned about our comfort and keeping us informed, but above all for showing us the most valuable thing about each place. The places where they took us to eat (Oaxacan exquisiteness!) and at a very reasonable price.

Fantastic! - Everything was great! I can't think of one thing standout more than the other. It was fun going to all the different places and learning about them, the history and the culture. I want to return and book with this organization again.

The Best of Oaxaca With the Best Guides! - We just finished up this two day tour and cannot recommend it enough. First of all, the price is an amazing value compared to other similar tours. We were with Ede the first day and Alberto the second day. Both of them are extremely knowledgeable and pack in a lot of important history and information with each stop. I also appreciate how much care that they treat clients with. I’m bilingual but my husband is not. He understands Spanish but is not as confident when he tries to speak it. so I usually have to be his translator. He was the only one on our tours who needed translation and both Ede and Alberto were patient and always made him feel included. We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking to see all of the most important sites of Oaxaca.

Excellent - All excellent, the agency contacted in less than 24 hours to confirm the transfer and they were always on the lookout and the guide very friendly, but they should update the admission costs because they are no longer the ones published by viator

Great - I have traveled a lot and some times I use tours for excursions. I am surprised to have found so few reviews in this combo tour which I really enjoyed. For the first day we had 8 tourists and the second day fewer so it was a small group in a nice van with Marcos as driver and Edie as the guide. She even brought 3 books with her to Monte Alban to show us things relevant to our understanding of the history and sites. It was a well-balanced tour of activities and the description is accurate and I would highly recommend this tour!

Marco from Oaxaca Shuttle - We ran into Marco by the convento de Santo Domingo. We made us an offer that was reasonable. Let me say that Marco Rodriguez was the high Light of our trip. He took us to meet artisans that we would’ve never found. He was knowledgeable, professional, attentive and puntual. He normally is around the Paseo Turístico. It was a pleasure getting to explore Oaxaca under his guidance. Get his services!
