Worth it! - This is an amazing way to learn about raptors and experience them up close and personal. Our guide was exceptionally knowledgable and made everyone feel comfortable around these large, strong, and intelligent animals. We are coming back within a year for the intermediate level experience for sure!

Excellent time and an awe inspiring treat! - This is a wonderful and once in a lifetime experience for city people like me who seldom get this kind of up close experience with nature and amazing birds of prey in particular. Deana and the whole team are truly outstanding!

Unbelievable Experience! - Absolutely unbelievable experience! We did the intermediate falconry lesson and it was amazing! The different birds we were able to interact with, the unbelievable knowledge of the falconer, it was worth every penny!

Excellent Falconry experience - My son and I had a wonderful falconry experience at the Broadmoor Outfitters. It was the perfect balance of learning and fun interaction with the beautiful birds. I would highly recommend this experience. The staff was friendly and professional and we look forward to trying another adventure in the near future with this company.

Best wildlife experience ever, so much interesting information and fun!!! - Best wildlife experience EVER. The trainer that led our group is amazing, she gave a really informative but also fun talk about birds of prey and falconry. Do you know how many common expressions we use every day that come from falconry or it's approximate 6000 year history? Super interesting. So we met various of her birds in the training room where they are housed, and she took several out one by one - owls (the most beautiful and amazing of all to me), peregrine falcon, etc - and they flew around amidst us. Just fantastic. Her talk on their history, how they're bred, trained, how to get into falconry etc was riveting. Then we were hauled off to their outdoor area about 15 minutes away from the Broadmoor to what used to be a Broadmoor golf course but due to land 'shifts' was no longer good for that use. That was a fun drive on it's own on private propery. There she took out different birds and let them loose, 'luring' them back in various ways. At one point we formed a two sided line about 3' apart and she got the bird to fly right down the middle, his/her (?) wings touched my face. AMAZING! Then each person got to put on the glove and hold the bird, and even 'pet' its chest. She reminds you as the bird looks at you like a big piece of meat that you signed away your rights in their waiver form. Everyone in our group was thrilled by her presentation and the birds and all the knowledge we gained about this ancient sport. Best thing you could possibly do any time, any place.

Best experience of my life!! - Absolutely one of the best experiences of my life! I really got lucky and was the only participant that day. I had taken a class years ago elsewhere so I knew some of the specifics. However, Roger is such a passionate falconer and so knowledgeable, he makes it interesting for all levels. If you have any interest in birds of prey, this is a must do while in the area.

Best Day Ever!!! - Husband went to the spa...I soared with hawks, falcons, and owls!! One of THEE coolest things I've ever done in my life! Roger, the Falconer, was extremely knowledgeable. I was lucky enough to do this one-on-one because nobody else signed up! Got all the education down close to the resort, then we went up the mountain to fly one of the birds. I got to have one perch on my gloved hand and rub his belly!! Honestly such a beautiful educational experience in such a gorgeous setting. Just couldn't have been any better!!

Entertaining, educational and fun!! - Well run program. Deanna was phenomenal and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. My daughter and I loved every bit of the day.
