- Gangaramaya (Vihara) Buddhist Temple - Gangaramaya is one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Colombo, started by the famous scholar monk Hikkaduwe Sri Sumangala Nayaka Thera in the late 19th Century.
After the Venerable Sri Sumangala, his chief pupil Devundera Sri Jinaratana Nayake Thera took on the administration of the temple. It was he who laid the foundation to convert the little temple to an institute of international reckoning.
The next chief incumbent was the Ven. Devundara Keerthi Sri Sumangala Jinaratana Vacissara Thera, the teacher of the Ven. Galboda Gnanissara, who worked to make the Gangaramaya what it is today: much more than a temple in the conventional term, but a place of worship, a seat of learning and a cultural centre.

Informative tour with a great guide - Very nice tour around town. We had only one day to explore Colombo and decided to book the tuk tuk tour for half day. Ricky was our tour guide. he was very friendly and took us to explore around the city with great care and made sure we saw everything the city has to offer while learning the history. I highly recommend booking the tour! Thanks Ricky for everything!

Ricky was awesome ***** - Ricky was 30mins early for pickup and we started straight away. He was flexible and stopped when we asked to take pictures. His English is great and he made sure to show us plenty of different veggies in Pettah market. He was considerate on the road, ensuring our safety at all times. Would definitely recommend.

Green Tuk Tuk Tour in Colombo - Super friendly and helpful Romesh picked us up at the hotel this morning for the Colombo City Tour in his comfortable beautiful green rickshaw. It is our first day in Colombo and this was the best start to get a feeling for the city. We admired his driving skills! Can recommend him and the tour anytime!!
