A delicious education - I really enjoyed my visit to the chocolate museum. It was quite busy, as it was just before Easter. I would've been almost entirely satisfied by drooling over all the types of chocolate in the gift shop. The tour was interesting and educational. Be sure to give yourself enough time to see all the displays.

Great museum - This museum is reasonably priced and gives an interesting insight into the general production of chocolate as well as the local insight. Watching the machinery produce the chocolate as well as taste some of the chocolates was great. The huge chocolate fountain will have all chocoholics drooling before a trip to the cafe satisfies that need with chocolate cakes or thick hot chocolate looking over the river.(alcohol added for those in need). A must see if you visit this city.

Interesting - The Chocolate Museum sits next to the Rhine. Having never seen the mechanics behind the chocolate that I frequently eat, I found lots of machinery at work making confections in viewing areas that gives one the up close and personal touch. What is really fascinating is the workers pouring chocolate into the molds. Interesting to watch before going to the fountain of chocolate and having a taste.

Expensive for what you get - The museum has some interesting history but you only get a couple of samples on the tour and it takes ages for them to be dispensed so if there’s a queue you have to wait a long time. Large groups make it hard to see the info boards. The cafè is very overpriced and staff are slow. I was brought the wrong drink to start with. I also asked for a glass of tap water. The waiter said okay and then I was charged €3 for it.

Rip-off - There is a museum where you pay 18 euros per ticket they give you two chocolates on a cross and you even have to queue to find out before I bought myself a bar down at the bar I was happy Part of the museum is small, very small, cute, then for the rest you pay to see workers at work, bah
