14 stations include: Cologne Cathedral Castle Wall, Old Town, Gürzenich, Neumarkt, Water Tower, Clodwigplatz, Chocolate Museum, Triangle Tower, Lanxess Arena, Odysseum, Zoo, Eigelstein, Mediapark, and Friesenplatz.

The primary station, Dom Burgmauer/Tourist Info, is active from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a new bus every 30 minutes.

The last trip from the cathedral starts at 5:00 p.m. with a return by 6:30 p.m.

Cologne open top bus tour - Really great way to see the city! Very easy booking process and headphones are supplied, allowing you to listen in different languages. Very enjoyable experience!

Brilliant! - Excellent way to get to know the city. Especially when you go with children and for a few days. It's a short journey. You can go up and down as many times as you want. We advise arriving very punctually at the first one so that you have time for everything since although it is relatively small, they stop coming at 5 pm.

2 Thumbs Up for Cologne - Started at stop 1, the attendant was very friendly, advised us where to sit, how to listen to the presentation in English, even gave a couple of tips where to eat and get a pint! Took the entire trip about 90 minutes then used the hop off and on to go see the inner city and all the cathedrals. We would recommend this for a day trip to get familiar with the city!

Great tour - Great city tour with lots of interesting information. My bus was not overcrowded twice, so I was able to understand the announcements over the loudspeakers well. All other languages except German can be heard via headphones. The staff were very friendly. Unfortunately, the bus did not stop automatically at the stops. There were only two "stop" buttons on the bus, and an elderly lady had to ask a stranger to press the button for her. If you weren't paying attention, the bus would simply drive past the stop, as the announcement sometimes came when it was already too late.

Cologne by autobus - The rain and the fact that not all of the pre-recorded information tapes were in working order. Good driver, plenty to see, but the stops are often mega distances apart, making the notion of "hop on-hop off" redundant. You cant just hop on and off as maybe you would like to. Comfortable, clean and warm.

Not worth the time or the money. - Don’t do it. A terrible experience and a waste of money. First impressions: the litter on the upper deck had not been swept. The seats from the rain had not been dried. The EarPods for the translation only worked on one side. The translated commentary was drowned out by the German commentary over the loudspeakers. The early parts of the tour were through a series of tunnels. Very noisy, and driven at (in my view) an unnecessary speed. The bus did not stop or slow down at interesting places, e.g. the Flora, or the view of the city from the other bank to see the cathedral as a silhouette against the sky. Etc. At 20 euros per person it was not worth the time or the money.

No consideration for cyclists - Two weeks ago I had an extreme situation with this provider in which the health of other road users was put at risk and equally inexcusable insults were made. I was out on my bike when, after making eye contact with a bus driver, he cut me off for ignoring the bicycle safety lane. Even when I was forced to stop, the bus driver continued to hit me and came within a few centimeters of me despite the prescribed safety distance of 1 ½ meters. Since it was impossible for me to avoid it any further with my bike at this point, I hit the bus once to get attention. At least that way I was able to motivate the driver to stop. However, this also led to the bus driver opening the doors and loudly calling me "disabled". Here I have to state the following: - The bus driver disregards the road traffic regulations and the bicycle safety lane. Just a few days ago, a mother and her child died in Berlin due to similar disregard. In January 2019, a friend was hit in a similar way and seriously injured. He died a few months later from his injuries. I have no understanding for this kind of behavior. - Allowing yourself to be drawn into ableist insults shows an extremely primitive mind. - This driver seems to be unsuitable in terms of character, morals and professional skills to be allowed to drive a vehicle. I have also contacted the provider, who admits, among other things, to the insults. However, the behavior does not seem to have any other consequences.

Absolute con - AVOID! - The worst hop on/ hop off tour I’ve ever experienced. The audio was only in German and the headphones useless, lots of sound distortion and interference. Avoid at all costs - waste of time and money.
