Education enlightens us that sketching is an art form that necessitates dedication. We gradually understand the importance of postponing rewards, devoting an increasing amount of time to augment our sketching abilities. We are taught to sketch upright on an easel, to grasp the pencil in varying manners, to distance ourselves from the sketch and search for shortcomings. We also learn about organizing and simplification. Learning to halt, scrutinize and be patient are crucial lessons too. We are encouraged to cherish what inspires us. Although we learn a plethora of things in the class, the most noteworthy lesson is to appreciate and nourish what we undertake.
