Choose from one of 4 daytime rental times and enjoy playing tennis on your very own tennis court for 1 hour of singles or doubles play! Players will be greeted by Tennis Pro Oliver and given a short tour around the premises. Then you will be shown your court and informed about the rules of the Academy.
You will then be free to use the tennis court for the amount of time reserved. The surface of the courts is made out of a porous concrete construction which is soft on the knees. A bell will be rung 5 minutes before the end of the hour signifying the end of the rental period. Rackets can be rented for a fee of 5 Euros per hour but feel free to bring your own equipment! Tennis balls can also be purchased at the Pro Shop along with snacks and drinks.

Book a tennis court in St Martin and engage in a game of singles or doubles! The tennis court is open for rental at 4 distinct times over the course of the day. The courts are manufactured from a permeable concrete material that is gentle on the knees. Have a fun tennis match with friends or family at the accessible location at French Cul de Sac, nestled between Grand Case and Orient Bay. The location features a Pro Shop, a snack bar, and a lounge equipped with dish network and complimentary WiFi.

- Refunds will not be issued if tour/activity is missed due to late or non-arrival of cruise ship
- proper tennis clothes and tennis shoes required. Tennis whites are not mandatory

5 Star Tennis Coach - Oliver is a tremendous Tennis Coach.
His attention to detail and love for teaching are apparent in each lesson.
I recommend taking multiple lessons for optimal improvement. Make sure to ask him about his serving technique !

If you play tennis, this is a MUST DO ON ST. MAARTEN - We found the American Tennis Academy by online search prior to our first trip to St. Maarten, and have been returning to play here each time we visit St. Maarten. It is much more than just courts to rent (which are great BTW). It is a place to find opponents to play, take lessons from a pro (Oliver, the owner and pro), meet interesting people from all over the world and from St. Maarten, watch TV tennis events with others, have a drink, or even a nice breakfast. Oliver could not be a nicer person or a more avid lover of the game of tennis. He will teach you, arrange good opponents for you, make you laugh, and most of all, make you feel very welcome. St. Maarten is lucky to have this place.

Unique shore experience of tennis and beach - A beautiful experience. My 1st time playing on a rubber surface. The court played similar to clay on the bounce, but you could also hit thru the court like a hard court. Beautiful location, great people. Orient bay 5 mins away. I recommend it for tennis lovers on cruise ships for a unique island experience. $30usd taxi (one way), and after, jump into the Atlantic at orient to cool off! Great place, great people.

Jeff S Review - Oliver has created a beautiful tennis academy in St. Martin. If you are looking for lessons to add some “salt & pepper” to your game then he’s the right professional. He’s a tactician that will not sugarcoat your deficiencies. He’s a gentleman and a lot of fun to spend an hour on your game. I highly recommend planning lessons with him. His pro shop has great shirts too! Enjoy!

Tennis lessons for my backhand - I can't recommend Oliver high enough. I fixed a lot of my backhand issues. I gave me lots of tools to keep on correcting. He definitely is not a human ball machine like many instructors. Thanks so much. I'll be back next year!

Awesome Tennis experience - We had an amazing experience at American Tennis Academy. Oliver is a fantastic teacher. He is a master 'technician', with an incredible eye and a wonderful way of reinforcing his teaching.. My husband and I are planning another trip to St Martin so we can learn even more from Oliver. Great Tennis Facility and Pro - Courts are in great shape and Oliver really knows the game and how to teach it. He has certainly helped improve my tennis and I enjoyed his lessons. I would highly recommend this facility for tennis players of all skill levels.

Great Tennis at American Tennis Academy with Oliver - We just finished an hour of court time at Oliver’s lovely facility! We thoroughly enjoyed our time on the court, but even better was meeting Oliver and Rocky.
If you are visiting St. Martin and play tennis, it’s easy to make a reservation. Just email Oliver ahead of time. He has a lovely set up with a bar, TV’s, darts area and pro shop. Thanks Oliver and we look forward to seeing you and Rocky on our next visit.

Great courts and top notch coaching - Oliver is an awesome coach. He fixed my forehand by diligently watching my stroke and then patiently taking me through every part, step by step. Very professional and really focused on the player. If you play tennis, go see Oliver! BTW the courts are top notch and a pleasure to play on.

Best Tennis in St. Martin - We traveled to St. Martin with our son, who is playing D1 tennis in Georgia this fall. Before leaving on vacation, I reached out to Oliver at the American Tennis Academy. He was quick to respond and answered all of our questions. Upon arrival, Oliver could not have been more accommodating and gave our son some great pro tips. Our son played there for at least two hours each day (during our 5 day trip) and the courts are in good shape. There is a lovely bar area with shaded seating with two outdoor TVs that were perfect to watch Wimbledon. Even while Oliver was giving lessons to other players, he always kept an eye on us to ensure that we didn't need anything. If you are in St. Martin and play tennis or want an excellent lesson, this is the place to be! We are looking forward to returning again. Thank you, Oliver!
