Fun and informative day trip - I had a great time on our trip. I love the variety of things we got to do. Wine tasting , seeing llamas, visiting the Inca Lagoon. I never felt rushed. It was a really chill pace. I really enjoyed the ride through the mountains. Hector is very knowledgeable about wine and the local history. I learned a lot! He was able to do the tour in English, Spanish and Portuguese. I would definitely recommend this trip if you want to get some wine tasting and sight seeing done in one day and get back to Santiago in time for dinner.

One of the highlights of our trip to Chile! - This tour was brilliant from start to finish! Our guide Álvaro was knowledgeable, funny and incredibly interesting. He went above and beyond to provide a fantastic day for us. The trip has so many positive things about it, from the lovely vineyard visit, getting to feed some adorable llamas to seeing the grand Inca lake. We were also so lucky to see some wildlife on the journey too. Seeing Andean condors and guanaco made my day! We 100% recommend this tour! Loved it!

StStrongly recommend, it doesnt dissapoint! - Communication wirh Alavarado was great before we even left, letting us know our pickup time from our hotel the night before. He shared nuggets of knowledge along the way, pointed out interesting sightsandgave clear instructions at each stops. We felt very safe with Angelo as our driver. We went on May 1, which is a holiday in Chile so we couldn't visit the winery, but the wine tasting with llamas and picnic was even better than when we took this tour previously in the spring and went to the winery. Apparently, the wine tasting schedule varies depending on the season. In the falland winter it's on the way to Portillo but in the spring/summer it's on the way back, which makes more sense. But hey, it's never too early for some wine in Chile! The only lunch option at the Portillo ski resort is the hotel restaurant, which is quaint but a bit pricey. Definitely go in the summer/fall to hike down to the lake shore and get the best view of the blue water. I just wish we had a little more time there. It would have been hard to both eat and see the lake if it had been busy. The snail road leaves speechless.

Note 10 - The places where there are stops are fantastic, as is the road/travel experience itself. The van is comfortable and the timetables were met to the brink, with safety and agility. The guide Álvaro and the driver Angelo did a job score 10. Very friendly, kind and caring from beginning to end. Relevant information during the journey, with stops at appropriate moments that "break" the journey and make time pass very quickly to the destinations. I recommend and would do the script again.

Great wine, beautiful views and entertaining host! - Amazing day! The winery was a beautiful, quiet, family owned operation. Our group were the only visitors, wine was fantastic. The views at Inca Lake were also amazing, food and wine were great. Our guide Alvaro and driver Angelo were awesome. Alvaro kept us informed and entertained while Angelo kept us moving. It was a great experience, highly recommend.

Wonderful day trip - Our tour guide, Alvaro, was great. He provided us with a great deal of information about the areas we visited and Chilean history and culture. Our driver, Angelo, was wonderful as well. We didn’t have a chance to visit the winery due to the holiday but we had some tasty snacks with two great wines where we stopped to see llamas. The Inca Lagoon and Portillo were beautiful. The scenery on the drive is spectacular.

Amazing Views! - Really enjoyed this tour! It’s a lot of time in the van but worth every minute to get outside the city and go way up into the mountains! Spectacular views! Friendly guide and safe driver. The only hiccup was that our ticket showed that our group would be picked up at our hotel (next to airport) but they did not do that. We had to Uber to a meeting point. The tour guide stated this was an issue with Viator.

Breathtaking lagoon! - The whole trip was amazing with great communication. Our tour guide was Hector and he was so knowledgeable and kept giving us tips and information on Chile. We stopped at a restaurant that had alpacas for photos, then we had lunch in the beautiful resort where the Inca lagoon is located, I recommend to eat something fast or skip lunch (only if you buy something at the gas station/ first stop) and take the path that goes from the restaurant to the little island in the middle of the lagoon, it’s breathtaking. You would want to spend more time out there, it’s so peaceful and breathtaking. The last stop is the caracoles road which is crazy beautiful from curve #17. It’s along trip but really worth it!!!
