An easy paddle, a fun time!! - It was great. Chris, our guide, was informative and funny. We were enchanted by the mangrove tunnels and canal neighborhoods on our trip. We enjoyed seeing the dolphins. But the height of the tour was the bioluminescent jellies. An easy paddle, a fun time.

Sunset Splendor: Exploring the Mangrove Magic - Under the painted sky of the Thousand Islands mangrove, my friend and I embarked on an unforgettable sunset kayak journey guided by Dave M. As we paddled through the serene waters, we were greeted by the graceful presence of blue herons and pelicans, their silhouettes casting enchanting shadows against the fading light. Dave's insightful commentary illuminated the intricate ecosystem of the mangroves, adding depth to our experience. This adventure was not only educational but also a soothing oasis, a cherished memory that shimmered as a radiant highlight of our week.

All the things and then some! - Outstanding experience with Chris last night. We saw it all! Dolphin, manatee, comb jelly, pelican, cormorant, jumping mullet, and even a scurrying raccoon! Chris was super chill, informative, and quickly formed a rapport with our ten and fourteen year olds. His pictures are marvelous and his concern/care for the environment is clear. We loved our kayaking experience.

Stop Researching And Book With Cocoa Kayak! - If you are looking for a kayak tour, oh my goodness, stop researching and book with Cocoa Kayaking. We did the Thousand Islands Mangrove Tunnel and Bio Comb Jelly Sunset Tour on 12/29/23 and it was INCREDIBLE! We had a family group of nine (ages 12-71) and everyone absolutely loved it! Our tour guide, Chris, was fantastic- super knowledgable and laidback! Kayaking through the mangroves at sunset is insanely awesome and peaceful. The bio comb jellyfish are fascinating and so cool to catch. No one in our party had any trouble with the kayaking- it was not strenuous at all! The pictures we got (both ones we took ourselves and the ones that Chris took and emailed to us after the tour) were gorgeous. There was absolutely nothing negative about our experience! It should be a bucket list item for everyone!

Perfect Kayak Experience - From booking with Genevieve to kayaking with our guide, Ian, our kayaking experience was perfect from start to finish. We were able to book the exact experience we wanted and go out the same day. Other than dolphins splashing together as if they had been choreographed, pelicans sleeping on piers and an array of manatees and other wildlife doing their best to slip by us, we had the mangrove-filled Indian River largely to ourselves. Stunning.

The Bucket List Item You Didn’t Know About - Chris was a wonderful tour guide! He recognized early that the winds from originally scheduled starting point would be difficult so he switched the start point with ample time to allow us to adjust our plans. Additionally, he navigated us through the mangrove tunnels with ease even though the water level was much higher than normal! He was a trove of knowledge when it came to the mangroves, animals we spotted, and history of the area; I don’t recall a question he couldn’t answer. Overall - this experience was everything I had hoped for and more. Would highly recommend to anyone coming to the area. I will be back for a repeat experience should my travels bring me back to this area in the future.

Serene discoveries - The views were amazing. Our guide Chris was personable and informative. The Kayaking was easy despite high wind conditions. Traversing through the mangroves was a new adventure where we often used our arms to go from branch to branch to move forward! No jellies nor manatees sighting this tour, but the birds, sunset and dolphin put on a fantastic show. Kayaking through the waterways by moonlight was serene and peaceful. Highly recommended if you want a memorable Florida experience.

First time kayaking, this is the place to go - From the ease of getting signed up for the tour, thank you Aurora; to the knowledge of our guide, Susie, it was very easy first venture for us on a kayak. We have been done canoeing all our lives, but wanted to try out a kayak. We were out just ahead of sunset, and witnessed the beauty around us, then made it to the Mangrove tunnels, which was great. I'd recommend using Cocoa Kayaking to anyone wanting to make a memory for life.
