Amazon Lodge Pilche - Upon arrival, guests are greeted with a welcome cocktail before being shown to their accommodations. Each room offers comfort with a private bathroom, towel, toilet paper, soap, mosquito net, and balconies equipped with hammocks for relaxation after jungle excursions.
El Pilche - Post-lunch, the journey continues along the Path to the Mandy Forest small river. Here, travelers can observe monkeys, birds, amphibians, and insects, paddle in the lagoon, fish for piranhas, and spot alligators. The day concludes with a night walk to observe nocturnal insects, night monkeys, and amphibians, followed by dinner between 20:00 and 21:00, and rest for the next day.
Observation Tower - Parrot Clay Lick
Parque Nacional Yasuni - At 06:00, breakfast is served before boarding a motorized canoe to the Añangu community. The Canopy Observation Tower at Yasuni National Park offers a 40-meter climb to view the Amazon Rainforest and the Andes mountains. Visitors can also see the Parrot and Parakeet clay licks, with the chance to spot parrots, macaws, wild pigs, or collared peccaries, weather permitting.
Parque Nacional Yasuni - In the afternoon, the community center hosts cultural demonstrations and offers local handicrafts made by women using seeds and natural materials from the jungle. As night falls, a short walk reveals the nocturnal wildlife of the rainforest, followed by dinner and rest.
Cultural Activities with the Indigenous Community
El Pilche - Day 3 begins with breakfast at 07:30, followed by a visit to the Indigenous community center for cultural demonstrations and the opportunity to purchase local handicrafts. Lunch at 11:00 features the traditional Amazon dish “Maito de Pescado.”
Between 12:00 and 13:00, travelers board a public canoe from the Community of Pilche to the City of Coca, with an estimated arrival time of 16:00.
