Perfectly guided adventures in Tulum and Coba with Rodrigo - Exploring the wonders of Tulum and Coba was an unforgettable experience, all thanks to our incredible guide, Rodrigo ‘The Golden Boy.’ From start to finish, everything about the tour was perfect. Rodrigo arrived ahead of the pickup time, ensuring that we left promptly. The vehicle was well air-conditioned, and snacks and drinks were provided. He struck the perfect balance between providing information and making the tour fun and entertaining. We began our adventure at the Tulum Ruins, a smart choice to beat the heat of the day. Rodrigo guided us to all the significant areas, providing context and sharing fascinating facts at every stop. After thoroughly enjoying Tulum, we headed to Coba, which proved to be even more expansive. Transportation by a tricycle carriage was provided, making the tour much more efficient and minimizing walking. To wrap up the day, we had a delicious Cochinita Pibil meal at a charming restaurant just outside the Coba ruins. The homemade tortillas and a Modelo Negra were the perfect end to the tour. Throughout the day, Rodrigo was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. He made sure we never felt rushed and encouraged us to take all the time we needed. He also happily took as many photographs of us as we wanted, making sure we had memories to cherish. This tour wasn’t just about the sights—it was a day filled with learning, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Rodrigo truly went above and beyond to make it special. I would specifically request Rodrigo for any tours I plan to do in the area.

Unforgettable tour, Rodrigo was excellent! - We had a wonderful experience with Rodrigo. He arrived early to our resort, no waiting or delays. He was very hospitable and had drinks and snacks for us throughout the day. He was a very safe driver, I am not a great passenger but I had no reservations about his driving, I felt very safe. He was super knowledgable about both Tulum and Coba ruins. He made sure we got all the amazing photo opportunities at each location. Lastly our lunch at Coba was delicious. You can never go wrong with authentic cochinita pibil and home made tortillas! I highly recommend leaving as early as possible to beat the noon heat at Tulum, don’t forget to apply your sunscreen. Rodrigo will also have a sun umbrella for your use. The jungle cover at Coba was a great relief. Be sure to bring some tipping money for your tricycle driver at Coba and your lunch server, but otherwise everything was included and was a truly phenomenal experience. He also followed up with some great literature and photos afterward in case we had questions. 10/10 recommend Rodrigo and this tour company.

Simply the best tour.. - We wanted to explore the incredible Mayan ruins with a guided tour. Our hotel had its own operator but it seemed unreasonably expensive. After some research and thanks to Tripadvisor, we found Eli! Omg, thank God we did! We booked a private Tulum, Coba and Cenote tour with his agency. Communication is excellent. Derek is super attentive and provides all information you may need. We were able to tweak the itinerary of our tour as we wanted, following Eli's recommendations (which are just on point). His cars are comfortable, provides snack and a delicious lunch in a local restaurant. Btw, definitely some of the best cochinita I have tried. More than anything, Eli is a nice, genuine, knowledgeable, and kind person, who loves his job and his culture. He will provide you with a true story about Mayan civilization. It is a personal and relatable experience. Do not hesitate to book your private tour with Yucatan Eli. Simply the best tour... Can't wait to come back again!

Excellent tour of Tulum ruins & Coba ruins - highly recommend! - Eli was a fantastic guide for our tour of the Tulum ruins and the Coba ruins. He was friendly and knowledgable and patiently answered all of our questions. Not only did we learn a lot, but we had fun doing it. A highlight for us was riding bikes through the jungle at the Coba ruins and seeing spider monkeys in the trees above us! Lunch was fantastic and included in the cost of the tour. For us, a private, personalized tour is well worth it!

Eli is the Man! - Eli was an absolutely phenomenal tour guide! He is extremely knowledgeable in Mayan history and also very fun to spend the day with! The restaurant he took us to for lunch was authentic Mayan cuisine and was amazing. It was nice to see both ruins in one day since the history is very much connected.
