Great private tour. - We had a great day with arlos. He was very informative and knew every bird imaginable as he also leads bird watching trips. He took us to an excellent cenote both closed and open and actually swam with us pointing out interesting things to see. We splurged on a private tour so we could spend the day practicing our spanish. Carlos was so nice to chat with us most of the long ride tolerating our intermediate spanish. We did have 2 issues, both beyond his control. Traffic was bad so it took over 2 hrs each way from Cancun to Cobá and our local guide wasn't good. Coba only allows their certified guides so that was not the fault of Carlos or Contoy excursions, his company. We still found the archeological site interesting and worth the trip. Thanks Carlos! See you next time!
