Explore the past & clear waters! - Gabriel was an excellent tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and entertaining. He was very professional and maintained a safe environment. The buffet lunch was delicious, with freshly prepared food for all diets and mindful of those with allergies. Lupita, our driver kept all belongings safe in the van and maintained safety on the road. Additional fees to expect included the $10 per person to go into Tulum Ruins, drinks at the buffet, and bicycle rentals at Coba (65 pesos per person). Small bottles of water were provided throughout the day at no cost. We highly recommend this excursion! Be ready for a day of activity and exercise, followed by a relaxing experience in the clear waters of the Cenote. Unfortunately we were unable to load our pictures due to connection issues, but don't forget to bring your camera! Your tour guide will also take pictures of you and your loved ones at each location.

Fabulous tour of Coba and Tulum - This was a tremendously interesting and enjoyable experience from start to finish. The highlight was really the expertise of the tour guide Antonio, who was extremely knowledgeable and also a great storyteller. His explanations of the significance of the cities of Tulum and Coba, their place in the Maya world and the details of their archaeology were very insightful and engaging. The tour was also really well organised, we were picked up and dropped off exactly when we expected to be, and how long we would have at each stop was clear from the outset. The swim in the cenote was quite a profound experience after learning so much about Maya history earlier in the day. Lunch was in a wonderful spot too; and we saw lots of interesting wildlife as an added bonus - including a spider monkey and her baby!

Great experience - Our guide Antonio was great and humorous, he provided a lot of information about Tulum and Coba. We had great Mexican lunch (buffet style) and got some nice souvenirs (with nice prices) from the store next door to the restaurant. The last stop was a Cenote swimming in underground natural pool with fresh water: it was very nice to get refreshed after spending the time under the sun.

A Good Day Tour and Nice Guide - The pickup was on time. We were the first group to be picked up so it took a while to collect (and drop off) all the people. Note that they charge $10 usd per person for the driver. We did have a small group of people, about 10. The arranged activities were as described and nicely organized. We first went to Tulum and then walked down to the Paradise beach. After that we had a lunch near Coba and then visited Coba pyramid ruins. At the last we swam in the Multun-Ha cenote. Mimi was our tour guide and she is extremely nice. She gave us good explanation and patiently answered every question from us. She took care of our needs and helped us communicates with locals. She seems very honest and we never feel pressured to do anything we did not want to. Tulum was usual. We arrived early enough so we avoided much of the crowds. The beach was a relaxing short moment. The hotel offered free beds and chairs. There was a bar by the beach. The buffet was surprising better than we expected. Comparing to the buffet in the X-parks (as a common standard), it did not have as many selections but tasted better in my opinion. The cenote is a fully closed one. It was quite unique. The water was so clear and not very crowded. Personally I would prefer to have an opened one though for better view. Overall, a fun and informative trip! Highly recommend if you're looking for a mix of adventure and relaxation.

Brilliant Day Out - but a long day - This was an excellent trip with a great deal packed into it, including a very good buffet lunch. It was a very long day though - for all that it was a small group, the pick ups were from 6 different hotels which were all a distance from each other. We were at the second most distant so ended up with a 13 hour day out, which coupled with the trip itself being a very full day, made for an exhausting day. Would have been a 5 star trip but for that.

Tulum and Coba are 2 very... - Tulum and Coba are 2 very different archeological sites, with their unique vibe (coast or tropical forest). The tour ended with a cenote that looked more like a cave, with perfect clear water.

Almost spoilt by tour operator's error. - I have marked the trip down as the operator messed up and tried to collect us from the wrong hotel, with a very similar name but about 45 minutes bus journey away! Whilst they were able to put us on the trip on the following day, it was pure good fortune that they had capacity and we were not otherwise engaged and we suffered considerable distress, especially when we thought the error might have ours not their's and that we might miss the trip completely and lose our money. Otherwise, the trip was amazing.

Lack of customer service - We were picked up on time in a van with filthy windows. The driver was stingy with the AC. He made sure there was AC for him and his co-worker / girlfriend in front, but didn't ask the passengers about their comfort. In fact, the driver said very little to the passengers. The lunch buffet was average. Eder was the tour guide and did a good job. Bottle water was provided, but not offered by Eder very often. About 10 minutes after we departed from Coba, the driver pulled over for snacks and drinks for him and his gal pal. Eder didn't ask us customers if we would like to get out and purchase drinks or snacks for the 2 hour drive back to the resort. This really ticked me off. I found the customer service lacking and the driver's snack stop to be irritating. I was not impressed.
