- Plaza de Mercado de Paloquemao - We’ll meet at the “sweetest market on earth” Paloquemao Market. Once in there we’ll start tasting different delicacies and start connecting the history and traditions of Colombia with its fruits. Depending on the season of the year, we’ll taste around 25 different fruits. After walking around the market and its sections, we’ll end the experience with a fruit juice tasting that goes along with a traditional snack. The privileged geographic position Colombia has due to its proximity to the equator and the Andes crossing the whole country creates the perfect conditions for fruits to develop unique flavors.

A great idea! - This tour is a great opportunity to taste an impressive variety of Colombian fruits.
Victor our guide was perfect, good level of English and very good knowledge of the fruits tasted. In addition, he presents everything to us in a precise order which allows us to maximize the flavors!
I recommend this tour which offers excellent value for money to anyone who wants to dare to taste Colombia. A unique opportunity with an exceptional guide!

A wonderful fruit market experience! - What a great way to experience Paloquemao market. Without the expert and insider knowledge of Victor, we would not have known the details of every type of fruit. The market could be overwhelming if you don’t know your way around. The cost was completely worth the knowledge, excellent English speaking guide and included fruit from many different stalls- over 20 fruits— as well as empanadas, and even paid for the bathroom! What a wonderful experience.

You are in great hands! - Victor anticipated our every need! Go hungry and pace yourself! The market is located next to IKEA. We enjoyed amazing fruit, coconut water, empanadas, a bean and chocolate drink, smoothies and the best avocado I have ever tasted! The guide spoke perfect English and made the tour fun!

Bogota Fruit Market Tour - A Must Do! - What a great experience! I would describe myself as a foodie, so this was a really fun way to explore Colombian ingredients. I never would have tried so many different fruits had I not gone on this tour. Victor is passionate about local ingredients and made the experience a lot of fun. Thanks Victor!

10/10 - I very much enjoyed my tour. I know there are many markets in Bogota and this was a really nice way to interact with one. Go hungry! The amount of things you try, and the variety is impressive. Victor was the guide and was very knowledgeable about the fruits, flavor, and agriculture. What I appreciated was the relationships he has with the vendors. As someone who doesn’t speak a lot of Spanish, it was really helpful. Taking an Uber to and from was simple. For the cost, I got a lot out of the experience.

Delicious - Phenomal. Victor was a great guide. We had 26 different fruits, hot and cold drinks, and a few snacks as well. He explained different varieties of native fruits as well as those from abroad now grown in Colombia. Strongly recommend this tour- you essentially get two meals included!

An absolute must! - This experience was great! I was hesitant at first because I've never thought of a fruit tour before but, I couldn't recommend more! There's so much variety and the market can be very overwhelming if you're not from there. Sara was absolutely fantastic! She is very knowledgeable/fun! Our experience was definitely a highlight of our trip to beautiful Colombia and thanks to Sara I now know what I'm looking at and how to eat the local fruits next time when I come back! A must do for those who love trying new foods!

This was so much fun and we learned a lot! - Sarah was such an enthusiastic tour guide and so many new fruits. This market is huge and amazing. If we would have gone without Sarah, it would have been overwhelming knowing where to go. She explained many different fruits, how to open them, what they are good for plus much more. We very much enjoyed our time, it was so worth it and I highly recommend it.

Delicious and educational tour! - This tour was fantastic! Victor was wonderful at finding fruits we had never tasted before and explaining to us their roots and uses. We tried at least 25 new-to-us fruits, as well as empanadas and a chocolate peanut drink. Even though we had bought fruit on our own at a market before, this allowed us to try things we would have never found by ourselves.

Don’t miss this tour in Bogota! - Val was fabulous and her enthusiasm for sharing the fruits of Colombia was contagious! Walking through the market was a fun experience and sampling the various exotic fruits with Val was a delicious and most interesting treat!! I highly recommend Val as your guide
