A Thrilling Family Adventure in Madeira! - We had an absolutely wonderful experience and Madeira will always hold a special place in our hearts as it was the destination of our very first holiday with our 6-year-old son!
We loved every moment of the tour. The guides were incredibly friendly, kind, knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire adventure. And, of course, they were exceptional drivers, navigating Madeira's spectacular terrain with skill and confidence.
One of our favorite memories will always be the excitement on our son's face when the driver told him he could stand up during the off-road sections. It made the experience even more thrilling and unforgettable for him!
This is a fantastic team of people who are truly passionate about what they do. If you want to discover the real Madeira, beyond the typical tourist spots, this tour is an absolute must-do. We highly recommend it and we would book again without hesitation!

Great all round - Really good day out. Got to see some lovely places. The guide was informative and happy to answer any questions. The day did not feel rushed at all. Beware, the off road is not for the faint hearted!

Beautiful tour with many great viewpoints. - The tour was great, the driver informed us a lot about the country and the people, we visited a small village pub and met a warm lady who made the best poncha on the island! Great tour!

Buckle Up - We didn’t know what to expect of this island and we were pleasantly pleased with our all day experience. We jumped in an Outback style jeep with an open top and headed out. The small narrow roads and the off-road stints along with the stops at all the beautiful sights this islands provides made for a great day. Jose’ was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide and was a delight to spend the day with all over the island. We highly recommended this company and day trip.

Exciting off-road way to see Madeira! - Fun way to see a good portion of the island in one day. The 4x4 experience off-road was exhilarating (and VERY bumby in the back!). Our guide was clearly a skilled, confident driver.
We had plenty of time at each stop. Our guide gave some basic background information but no too much otherwise. If you want a more “guided tour” with history, etc this might not check those boxes.
Lunch was pretty okay. Our guide called ahead to a restaurant and food was ready on arrival. Price was a flat 24 Euros each CASH ONLY (strange since other patrons were paying with cards). Perhaps we could have done lunch on our own in hindsight…
Seating is cramped in back (4 smaller guests sit across from each other) - not suitable for older guests, larger guests, or anyone with mobility issues.
Weather can run from hot near port, to damp and cold at high elevations. Bring layers and maybe even wind proof, waterproof outer shell to stay comfortable.

Great Driver, Crap Car - Our driver/guide was informative and entertaining. The transport was not so good: a 30+ year old Nissan with an extremely awkward read tailgate that we found very unpleasant.
