Awesome full day experience with Diogo in Madeira - Diogo is a gem! The experience was quite frankly awesome. His curation of what we should do for the day starting from watching the best sunrise (in the world IMO) was fabulous. It covered a whole range of places and frankly it appealed to our full family (2 adults 3 childern ages 9 - 16 - all with different sensibilities - much like any other family) It had the right level of flexibility - we had ample time to explore each of the points we visited - we never felt rushed in any way. Diogo was super knowledgable and share with us the information about Madeira and its uniqueness, its history etc in a fun, easily consumable way. His tips / stops included local stores / bakeries some of which only the locals visit - they were outstanding. Overall Diogo was very progressional but also fun, cheerful and informative. Overall a superb experience and highly recommended. His vehicle is big and can accommodate large families (upto 7) quite comfortably..

Fascinating tour - We spent a fascinating day with Diogo touring the west of the island. Diogo is an incredibly safe driver. He has an amazing knowledge of the island and took us to some beautiful places.His taxi is spacious and comfortable. We had some fascinating conversations between destinations - including travel, sport, politics, music & food! We will be using Diogo's service when we return to the island. Thoroughly recommended.

West side day tour - We had a lovely trip with our driver. We were picked up at our hotel and our driver/guide took us to all the sites on the West side of Madeira and gave us plenty of time at each spot. The poor chap even had a burst tyre, but he managed to change the wheel in record time, half way up a steep hill, with large tipper trucks passing by. Great job! Our guide had very good English and was very knowledgeable about the island. Comfortable car and excellent driver. Highly recommend.

Fantastic views and a great guide - The guide was great!! He was very informative and a great driver on some tricky roads. We especially enjoyed his ability to stop for photo ops.

Great value and service - Our driver Thiago met us promptly on the dock just outside the terminal. He smoothly navigated through the city of Funchal and into the countryside, where we were able to experience all of the promised sights, plus a few special stops in less crowded places. He wanted to give us a special treat to stop at a wine cellar, but it was closed due to a bank holiday. Instead he was able to show us how he cuts and peels sugar cane, and gave us samples to taste. Later we got to experience one of the end products, the delicious local liqueur Maracujá. Our day was packed with enjoyment of this beautiful island, and we were delivered back to our ship comfortably on time. I would absolutely recommend this company and tour.

Great tour! 10/10!! - Fantastic trip! Saw the island from a new perspective and would love to come again and do the other tours! It was personal and he told us everything we wanted to know. Great guide with lots of information.

The best start to our Mediera holiday! - We had a fantastic time exploring the island with Diogo. He was very knowledgeable and showed us everything the west side of the island had to offer. He was very attentive and was sure to stop at all the beauty spots to let us take photos. We would definitely recommend starting your Mediera holiday with a tour from Diogo!

Fabulous tour, wonderful sights with friendly and informative guide - We have booked with Diogo twice now. Our first time touring the east side of the island a couple of years ago, and on our next visit in February of this year we toured the west side. Pickup directly from our hotel. Diogo was very friendly, informative and catered to our needs throughout - tailoring the day to suit our needs. I would absolutely recommend Diogo tours.
