- Cabo Girao - The cliffs of Cabo Girao are some of the highest in Europe, with a near vertical drop of over 500 meters down to the raging seas of the Atlantic Ocean at the base of the cliffs. These magnificent cliffs have been converted into a nauseating tourist attraction, with a glass floor skywalk extending out over the top of the cliff.

Exceptional experience - Being so high above the clouds. The 4x4 experience. Great knowledge from the driver.very friendly. Met up with lovely people.

Excellent !! - We went on the tour with our guide Jose. Myself and my two daughters (aged 11 and 9). Mr Jose picked us from our hotel on time. He was very patient and with warm personality, smiling a lot.
We liked the slow pace and no rush. Mr Jose has a lot of knowledge about plants and local villages.
The most thrilling part was when we went off road into the forest roads with levadas. Met the local people. Going above the clouds was the highlight :-)!! Our family love nature and peace and quiet so this was the best experience ! There was no rush at all-which was good.
Thank you Mr Jose for you time and for showing us hidden beaufitul places in your beautiful island.

To small for humans - Sorry to say do not join this tour if you are amongst the four people seated in the luggage store in the back. To small for humans, low windows = you see nothing. To far away from the driver, you hear nothing from his guidance. Total discomfort. If you are amongst the lucky four placed in normal seats in the front you probably "survive". Beware!
