Fabulous food tour! - We had a fantastic time on our Ohio City tour! Katie, our guide was extremely knowledgable. We loved learning more about the area! And the food was plentiful and delicious! It was a very nice variety. Loved the drink pairings, too. Additionally, we were all impressed with how well-coordinated the timing of everything was -- our day was seamless! We'll definitely do another tour in the future. Thank you!

A great way to spend part of your day in Cleveland. - We were excited that our tour guide was Susan, the founder of the company. Her knowledge of the history and the current “vibes” of Ohio City was impressive. She curated the menu for every stop on the tour as only a chef could. The portion sizes were perfect for a tasting tour and we actually brought some food home with us. Everything was delicious and satisfying, and most had very obvious connections to the Cleveland area. We look forward to future tours with Relish tour guides.

Fabulous Tour was Highlight of Cleveland Trip - This was an awesome food tour! Our group of friends had a fantastic time. Katie was a fabulous tour guide. The day started with a walk through the West Side Market where we sampled some things. We visited a local brew pub (Market Garden), Heck’s Cafe, and Avo. I would visit any of these places again. Avo’s was the best Mexican food I’ve ever had! In between food stops we walked the Ohio City neighborhood Andy learned a little history of the area and Cleveland. Katie was great weaving stories of the town with our delicious food stops. We ended the day with a great dish of Mitchell’s Ice Ceeam - delicious !! I would highly recommend this tour.

West Side Market Tour w Katie, Must Do! - Katie, the prior school teacher, was the perfect tour guide, phenomenal! Sharing history as we strolled thru West Side Market, around the neighborhood, in and out of multiple restaurants, taste testings! So fun! Our group was comprised of us locals, a couple from North Carolina, trio from Texas. Even being local, we learned so much, got to see West Side Market from above!! Highly recommend!! She stated they will also be doing a Little Italy tour; will be back with friends!

Loved it! Highly recommended - Such an amazing time with Katie our guide who was fantastic. We were a group of 8 in overcast weather. Katie guided us around to various places including Westside Market and other restaurants and ice cream shops (yes, very yummy). Loved this tour, we learned a lot about the area, the city and the restaurants and food scene. Highly recommend this tour.

Good experience of the Ohio City neighborhood food tour, but wish it was a little shorter and not so pricey. - I have nothing but praise for our tour leader Katie- she had this magic bag with umbrellas (as it had started drizzling) and a dry bag to put our wet umbrellas in when we did not need them. She was friendly and a good conversationalist. The Ohio City neighborhood is quite compact and the walk around which was not that long, gave a good feel for the architectural style of the cottagey-craftsman-style-houses, the restaurants looked really nice inside. Of the foods we tried my favorites were the West Side market (it wasn't as big as Vancouver Granville Market or Seattle's Pike Place, so very manageable but a very good variety and very tasty breads and sausages from what we tried), Mitchell's icecream (light, VERY tasty and I am still thinking about them after coming back home- it was that good), and the pierogis at Heck's. The rest of the food was tasty but a little greasy, heavy, meaty (tacos) and salty for my California taste buds ... it was not bad tasting and might very well appeal to others more. I went with an open mind and ate EVERYTHING, but obviously have my opinion based on my preferences. The entire tour could have been shortened by an hour or so as we didn't need as much time in each place, and since we were just 3 of us that day, I wish it had been shortened as we were ready to keep moving from place to place. But overall a good experience and I am glad I went for it; would recommend to someone visiting Cleveland and has time to spare, but be aware that food choices might well be to local taste. $91 pp is quite a steep price compared to similar food tours in other cities, but this one included more food quantity than I have had in other tours, so come with an empty stomach and be prepared to eat several mini meals.
