Definitely worth going ! - Definitely worth going ! As we had only one day available to visit Santos , this tour was excellent because we could check up on the main tourist sites and the guide could customize our tour taking into consideration that we were interested in visiting historical sites as well as the beautiful beach gardens.Our guide Catharina was excellent , she gave us lots of interesting information about Santos and she is also knowledgeable about native Brazilians as she currently lives part of her time in an “ aldeia indígena “. In my view, sites that you must see : taking the tram to Mont Serrat which has an amazing view, going for a quick walk to see the gardens along the beach, and also taking the tram through the old historical part of the town. We also had lunch in a restaurant called Porta do Sol which was a very pleasant experience with delicious food, though you may have to spare some time to do it, it’s a very busy restaurant.
