The unique volcanic soil and favorable climate support the cultivation of various grape varieties. Among the white wines, the Serprino, a biotype of the Glera vine, is known as the “volcanic” version of Prosecco. Other notable whites include Pinot Bianco, Garganega, Chardonnay, and Manzoni.
