Highlights
- Northern Row Brewery & Distillery - We talk about the history of this building including the Carnegie Steel beams that were used in the construction.
- 1818 Race St - Next we will walk to access the former Linch Brewery Tunnels that were built in 1850. These are not open to the public and only accessible on our tour.
- Findlay Market - We will briefly walk through Findlay Market during the tour. We will talk about the history of this oldest market in the state of Ohio. Its founder James Findlay and the unique construction of the market itself.
- Rhinegeist Brewery - Next we walk to the Rhinegeist Brewery, we do not go into this brewery but we talk about the history of the building and the role it played in the beer industry in the 1800’s in Cincinnati.
- 204 W McMicken Ave - Then we walk to the closed Jackson brewery to access the tunnels under the building. We talk about the amazing architecture and history of this building.
- Northern Row Brewery & Distillery - Then we return to Northern Row Brewery for a beer tasting for our guests that are 21 and over. Under 21 guests can have a soft drink of their choice.

Join us at American Legacy Tours for our latest tour, Hidden Caverns. This extraordinary journey will take you beneath the surface to the Linck brewery tunnels. We will then head to the location where Johnny Cash once filmed a movie. After this, we will make our way to the site of a significant Cincinnati incline. We will get an exclusive look inside the last remaining structures from the original Christian Moerlein Brewery complex, which has been off-limits to the public for many years. As an exclusive feature of the Hidden Caverns Tour, guests aged 21 and over will have the opportunity for a beer tasting at Northern Row Taproom 111 W McMicken Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45202. Regardless of the weather, our tours will proceed as planned!

Brewery Tour - Renee was an awesome tour guide with lots of knowledge. She had tons of history involving all the breweries and the tunnels. I highly recommend doing this tour.

History, Fun and Great Beer! - Maranda made the tour so enjoyable. She was fun and knowledgeable. My wife and I learn so much of the history of Cincinnati and the history of beer and breweries in Cincinnati. She knew everyone's name and that gave the tour an personal touch. Will be coming back with the rest of our family to do the Haunted tour.

One of the best tours ever - We took a tour on a cloudy day but our tour guide (Miranda) made it feel bright and sunny. She was the best! She was funny, engaging and so knowledgeable. Had no idea about this history of Cincinnati! Tour included my 14-year-old and it was appropriate. Highly highly recommend!

A little more then just beer knowledge - We had a great tour with Harrison :) he was very knowledgeable and friendly. Good amount of history of beer & how it’s intertwined in the city. Definitely something very cool to check out if you’re in the area.

Fun Team Building Activity - We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the Hidden Caverns. Scheduling was simple and easy, and the communication leading up to the tour was helpful and responsive. We had a work group of ten people, and we had a great time. The weather wasn't cooperative, but that's outside of the tour company's control, and they made sure it didn't subtract from the overall experience. The caverns are such a fascinating partt of the city's history, and people in our group who had done the tour previously still learned new facts this time around. The beer tasting at Northern Row was also a great experience. Our tour guide Miranda was fantastic! She made it a memorable experience for us with her humor, knowledge, and personal touch of remembering the names of each person in our group. I highly recommend requesting Miranda as your guide if you book a tour.

Highly recommend for team building or out of town visitors - Miranda did an absolutely fantastic job as our tour guide. So many great historic nuggets along the route. This was my third tour with the company. Would highly recommend.
