Bucket list! - A bucket list item tucked off for this 60-something woman. Instructor Juliet was wonderful with her not-so-talented student and it was a thrilling experience. Superb customer service from Robyn also.

Great Experience - I would recommend this to anyone. The office staff were great and offered other suggestions for someone with an interest in aviation to go visit while in Christchurch. My instructor was awesome and I had fun learning about how helicopters fly and getting to try it.

Exceptional Service - We booked a trial flight for 26 Aug 2022 morning. Unfortunately on that day, the weather was not good (cloudy with rain) so we had to reschedule to 5 Sep afternoon. On 5 Sep afternoon, after our briefing, the weather suddenly turned bad and once again, we had to push back the flight, this time to 7 Sep morning. On 7 Sep morning, we were finally able to fly and the experience is phenomenal. Immediately after that, we quickly made our way to the airport to catch our flight back home. We are greatly appreciative of Juliet, our pilot, who went out of her way to accommodate our schedule, even having to reschedule her own commitments in the process. She also gave us a brief tour of the place and we got to know many of the friendly staff there. Looking at the immaculate state of the helicopters, we know staff takes pride in their work. We like to thank the other pilot, Jon, as well, for his humour and for making the flight interesting. We also like to thank Geoff, who was really helpful in liaising with us and had given us great tips on travelling in the South Island. Friendly, professional and dependable staff. The Best birthday ever - The guys in the reception are super nice and very welcoming, Although my partner is scared of heights, he picked up his big boy pants and went for it. He had the best time of his life. Honestly he couldn't stop talking about how he flew a helicopter best fun he's ever had. Thank you GCH yous definitely know how to leave smiles on your customers faces. 👍

1st lesson - Have had this on my bucket list and it was even more than I could possibly imagine! The experience was something else and highly recommend it to anyone thinking of doing this. Thanks to Jonno, awesome instructor, look forward to do this again.

Dreams really do happen - my father was visting and in a previous life he had been a British helicopter pilot. At 84 it had been many years ago but he still talked about it with a passion. As a surprise i rang the team (4-5 times) to say i want it to be the ultimate experience. Although older he still knew what it was about and I didnt want it to be spent all about showing him what he already knew but just outdated. The team were UNBELIEVABLE ! The office to the pilot Jono continued to assure me it would be the ultimate experience for him and then some. I cried when I saw him take off and then hovering above me, flying himself. They took off to the hills where he did multi landings and re-experienced his past. Thank you ALL so much. you made one family very very happy. Pre Covid so didnt need all the sanitizing that is now required.

A fantastic experience, it made me seriously consider taking proper lessons to get my license. - The lesson starts with a quick overview of the principles of flying the machine plus the major controls. Then it's straight into the air and the instructor hands control over to you in stages until you are flying it! As it has dual controls it's totally safe. My instructor was brilliant, really good at communicating what was happening so if you're considering booking this experience, go for it. You won't regret it!

A potential bucket list item blown away by the wind - We were frustrated by the weather. Due to cloud and high winds the helicopter lesson did not take place. The guys at Garden City Helicopters did everything they could to fit me in on the 28th, 29th and the 30th but the weather was against us. However full marks for the efforts they made
