  • Chongqing Zoo (Chongqing Dongwuyuan) - We pick up our travellers in the morning then get to the City Zoo for Giant Pandas. We do the zoo in the morning for Pandas are mostly fresher and more active than in the afternoon, and there might be a chance to see these cute animals’ feeding part. Beside, travelers also might enjoy some other animals and amazing art of Chinese garden.

Because really hard to find parking space nearby the zoo while in public vacation or major festivals, we might need to take a monorail train ride to the city zoo , we’ll try our best to make this as easy as possible, please be aware and thank you for your understanding.

  • Liziba Station - Then we’ll view an incredibal scene-a monorail train goes right through one apartment building, and there’s a train station is right inside of it. It’s an unique according urban design based upon our special terrain in this mountainous city, it’s now becoming a super hotshot, every single day there will be thousands of travelers be there to spot this interesting architecture. Ever 2 or 3 min will be a train through so you won’t miss anything.

Some ancient architectures like residences and temples are mostly well preserved, we’ll walk along a lively nostalgic flagstone street through this town, learn the traditional side of this metropolis in western China.

Lunch will be on us and might be inside this old town if time permits.

  • Jiefangbei Square - Move back to downtown then we’ll take a stroll in Jiefangbei Pedestrain Street-the traditional downtown of Chongqing. Jiefangbei(The People’s Liberation Monument) was built up in 1948 in memorial of the victory of WWII and has been a symbol of this heroic city for years. The few blocks arround are now becoming a CBD and a pedestraoin street where travellers mostly favor. There’s also a lively food court full of native gastronomy, it’s now a super hot hang out for both local folks and new comers.

Taking an amazing view from the top+exploring through a snack street inside+learning original folk custom are must-do things in this site. Another highlight here would be a 5-star hotpot resaurant called “Hong’ding”, step inside and try this typical Chongqing cuisine would always be a smart choice, if you could handle spicy food and the restaurant is still available. The average cost in Hongding Restaurant would approximately 150 yuan perperson.

A first view of Chongqing - The cable car ride was really spectacular and also the view from the Opera House was stunning . Try to avoid public holidays as it gets really busy.
