A very interesting day... - A very interesting day out. Really enjoyed all the sites of Famagusta although the highlight of the trip for me, was the Ghost City of Varosi unique and fascinating place with a sad history. Our guide Vasos was excellent!

Great day out - A very long and informative trip. Sit on the left side of the bus, that is where most things are. Brilliant driver and guide. Highly recommend it if you like history.

Prepare for a very long day we also had about 12 pickups before we got going - Nothing prepares you seeing a whole town lost. Roman arena also impressive. Take good shoes floor very uneven. Very knowledgable guide although a bit dry.

Visit to ghost city - Visiting the ghost city. Its been deserted since 1974. Buildings have been left empty and businesses abandoned since then. There are sandy beaches and the coast which once attracted tourists.

A thought provoking day that brought history to life. - This was a trip that has been put off for many years but it was absolutely worth waiting for. Although a long day, timings were great with sufficient time to view all the sites that we visited. The guide was extremely informative and brought a good deal of local knowledge and passion to the day. The visit to the ghost city of Famagusta was extremely thought provoking and certainly makes you reflect. It brought to life the tension that still exists on the island and the sad consequences of the war in 1974. This was certainly the most memorable aspect of the tour and worth going just for this.
