Such a fun experience! - What a fun class. We got to visit a true Asian market with Saori and learned about different soy sauces and their uses. She showed us the many different types of Ramen noodles and what broths go best with each. At the cooking studio we met Kyoto and Lyon who taught us how to make Jiro ramen and pork chashu, along with blanching the vegetables to put on top of the ramen. It was a fun experience with the family. The team at Patia’s Japanese cooking class were all so kind, even when we were messing up the noodles.

Ramen-Making Experience at Patia’s Japanese Cooking Class w/ Saori, Kyoko, and Lyon! - My family and I booked the Ramen-Making Experience. Our experience started in Akihabara and our guide, Saori, showed us all of the different media stores and walked us through a Japanese grocery store showing us all of the different items that would be in our Jiro-style Ramen. After we arrived at the cooking studio. Saori, Kyoko, and Lyon explained how to make the meal and assisted us in making from scratch. They were incredibly kind and patient. Would recommend this experience to anyone, especially those that love ramen and love to cook.

Walking around akihabara and seeing a grocery store. Delicious ramen making! - Kyoko and Saori and Lyon were all wonderful. They were all so kind and spoke plenty of English. They fully immersed us in the Jiro style of ramen and were all so sweet and taught us the history and told us the different styles. All are very cheerful and make you feel welcome. It was also just an awesome experience to learn and bring back home. The ramen was so tasty and the experience is a must try! Saori took us to many different spots in Akihabara and even gave me recommendations on where to find Pokémon cards. Saori was very helpful and teaching us about ramen making and the steps it took were easy to understand. She was very cheerful which made the experience that much better.

Great memories made with deeper education on Japan - Wonderful experience! We had a great time learning more about ingredient selection and preparation techniques. The final result was delicious! Mari and Saori and assistant made a truly memorable afternoon! We made a delicious scratch-made Ramen that we look forward to recreating at home. Special thanks to Bunga for all of his in-depth knowledge and recommendations for everything from entertainment options to bakeries to Ramen shops (a true passion of his)! He really went the extra mile to show us some sights in Akihabara. Most importantly, the class added education and insight into the food culture of Japan. Lifetime memories were made today for our family. Thank you again!

Really nice ramen class ever in Tokyo - We did this ramen workshop in May and it was excellent. Saori our guide, and the cooking instructors Hiroko and Kanako were super nice and made everything easy to understand. We got to make everything from scratch, and the ramen we cooked was delicious (and a bit different from the ramen we knew). Honestly, one of the coolest things we did in Tokyo. Thanks again !

Who Knew Ramen Could Be FUN? - What fun! My husband and I met our guides and were off for a walking tour of the Akihabara area. (The guides were sensitive to my need to walk a bit slowly.) They gave us some fun facts and answered our questions. We stopped at a local grocery store and learned more about Ramen ingredients. Then we set off for the train station for our first time riding in Tokyo. We arrived at the studio and began our cooking session with many laughs and helpful instructions. The only thing more fun than cooking was eating our soup!

Fun and joyful cooking experience - The super market tour was great, and we got a lot of insights on how to combine ingredients and select toppings for the soup. Furthermore, the guide shared many interesting facts about Akihabara. The cooking experience was so much fun and easy to follow. All the chefs were smiling and wonderful teachers. Never had I thought it would be this easy and take such a short amount of time to prepare a delicious Ramen. Highly recommends this class!
