- Salinas de Maras - The salt mines of Maras are located to the northwest of the District of Maras in the slope of a hill, then this place has approximately 5000 small wells of salt that are filled with salty water in the epoch of drought that flows of a natural spring that is in the superior part of the wells to then crystallize so that the use of these wells are inherited from many years back of family in family and their existence and exploitation is believed that it is from the beginning of Tahuantinsuyo, Therefore in this tour to Maras Moray and Salineras you will be able to take a souvenir of salt and take magnificent photographs of the unique landscape of this place.
- Moray - Moray is located about 7 kilometers from the town of maras, and is a unique archaeological site in the region of Cusco. This place is composed of circular terraces with irrigation channels that conformed a great agricultural laboratory a prototype of a giant greenhouse, in this place the ancient Peruvians experimented and obtained improvements of plants of different latitudinal floors of Peru.
On the other hand the Andean man consumed a thousand and a half of diverse varieties of potatoes, a hundred and a half of corn, and many other products of these terraces, and also it has great Andean religious importance and inspires a great mysticism to the people specialized in the subject, for this reason currently preserved as a center of Ritual of offerings to the Pachamama.

Sacred Valley tour- a day trip from Cusco - We chose Come see Peru based on the great reviews and we were very pleased with our choice. Willy is such a great guide: informative, funny. We learned so much about the Inca culture and the hard work and commitment of the communities of today. We visited the Maras salt mines, Ollantaytambo ruins, Pisac ruins and market and an alpaca farm and shop. We had the best lunch based on Willy’s recommendations.

Excellent team to work with. - We booked the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu tours and both were excellent. The team organized everything and communication was next level. The guides were knowledgeable and fun and everything was seamless. Highly recommend!

Johnathan gives the best tours - Johnathan killed this tour, gave some phenomenal story's about the background of the incan people and really made sure we knew the history behind the sites. He did a great job and would definitely book again! Traveled with a large family!

Get Carlos and Rene! Great experience - Carlos was an exceptional tour guide with great insight, great English, and very accommodating. Also gave us tips for our other destinations. Tour was informative, not intense walk, and facts were fun. He recommended a great restaurant too which we all enjoyed. Would definitely recommend. Rene was the driver, ride was smooth, efficient, and he was very helpful with luggage.

Fantastic half day sacred valley tour - We had an amazing time on our tour. Our guide Carlos was fantastic and so knowledgeable. He made getting around so easy and took so many photos for us. It was a great way to see these sites and would recommend this to anyone traveling in the sacred valley for the day.

Beautiful sites, fantastic guides, and clear communication - My fiancé and I did the sacred valley tour with Carlos yesterday. The experience was one we’ll remember for a long time. Carlos was very knowledgeable about all of the sites, including Pisac, Moray, and Maras salt mines, and he was also personable and able to accommodate doing the tour in English. Michael was also a fantastic driver - we felt very safe with him during the tour. I’m very grateful we booked with Come See Peru and look forward to using them again the next time we’re in town.

Can’t say enough good things about Come See Peru! - My partner and I had an amazing experience using Come See Peru tours! This company came highly recommended from friends who used them last year, and they had nothing but great things to say. Michael and Carlos picked us up at our air bnb, were very friendly and courteous, and went over the itinerary of our tour for the day. The guides were very informative, and you can tell they just wanted us to have a great time and see as much as possible. My partner and I also appreciated all of the photos Michael took for us throughout the tour, and enjoyed getting to know them on the drive. All around great company, and very organized!

Interesting and well executed tour - Great experience with this agent from starting to liaising through WA with JC to tour day itself. We booked a tour quite last min and comeseeperu was able to arrange for a tour guide and driver. Tour guide , Carlos was very detailed in his explanation, shared with us the history of scared valley and Cusco as we just arrived in the city. The tips and explanation were helpful and we were better to orientate after that. Driver drove stable. Pick up was on time and the tour package itinerary where quite unique as from my research/comparison from other companies, hence that’s the main reason we chose them for our tour.

Knowledgeable, friendly, excellent private tour in sacred valley - We just got back from a week long trip to Peru and booked couple of private trips through ComeSeePeru (Julio). We contacted comeseeperu for options to visit sacred valley sites on the way from Cusco to Ollantaytambo. Julio worked with us via whatsapp to come up with a trip to see some of the sites. Carlos (Guide) with Michael (Driver) picked us up from Cusco airport and we visited the Alpaca farm, Maras, Moray ruins and got dropped at Ollantaytambo. Carlos was extremely knowledgeable, caring and friendly. Having just arrived in Cusco from Boston, he checked in with us regularly to make sure we were ok with the altitude / travel fatigue. The transportation was a clean / new large comfortable vehicle.
We were highly impressed with the tour, guides and the value for money, that we decided to book a full day customized tour in Cusco when we arrived back in Cusco later in the trip. We combined the archelogical sites with the walking tour in Cusco to cover more sites in our limited day. Ruben (guide) and Florentino (driver) again impressed us with their care, knowledge and professionalism. Ruben is an excellent guide with great pride and knowledge of his culture. We got a deeper appreciation of the beautiful country and its history thanks to Carlos and Ruben. Julio is prompt and responsive to whatsapp messages and was very easy to work with to arrange the tours. We felt we had local friends during our entire trip!
